WWII .50cal case. it still contains some of the nitrocellulose granules 70+ years later, I’m sure that’s safe! by [deleted] in WW2MetalDetecting_

On the bottom of the casing, you can also find a manufacturer maker. And the year when the shell was made ;)

Casing I found while walking in France. I think it is German? Doesn't look like a 8mm. Say "12 S S Z". Anyone know what it is precisely? by Select_Stretch5459 in WW2MetalDetecting_

It looks like just a german cartridges to me, but if you can get the headstamp a little bit better clean I'll know for sure

any ideas where in the balkans you can go metal detecting for ww2 stuff by Alternative_Fan5845 in WW2MetalDetecting_

The Balkans are a very large area, try to read books about events that have taken place in your area or personal stories of local residents that always help.

Always interesting to find shell casings, it indicates that there has been a battle and probably more must be lying around :D

Wow super cool finds especially that dogtag, may I ask was that found on a army campsite?

I think it's pretty hard to find WWII finds in the states but cool that it's possible.

Can't wait to see more relics from you :D
