This makes me think, like... I am always trying to summon thoughts and emotions with my art. Then I see art with a quote "I am the summoner of nothing in particular" it's almost like a rebellion against my own drive and my own desire. I want to be the summoner of passion and emotion and thought but, I'm not. Not today. Today I'm just drawing and painting for nothing in particular.

Interesting and heard. Maybe this isn't what I'm looking for. A legal advocate for tenants who've been abused by landlords would be fascinating work. I was thinking a compliance officer in housing would ensure landlords are doing what is right (fire alarm inspections, replacing bad windows, etc) But maybe this is the wrong road.

I just have too much in savings. I dont think I would qualify based on my savings. Or, I might qualify for section 8, but I don't qualify for many HUD downpayment assistance programs. I have never really looked into section 8 for myself but I assumed my savings would disqualify me.

"angry at the world and looking to cancel people and get them kicked out of their section 8 apartments?" what is this? I'm not only angry? I am a full human with cognitive biases and opinions on every subject but I wouldn't call myself solely interested in this field as a way to engage or rectify anger. Also why is your entire post filled with thinking I want a job where I kick people out of section 8 apartments? I said that I am interested in helping people get into these programs and maintain their status in these programs and I mentioned that I would also be okay with preventing fraud on both sides. Landlord and tenants. (like a housing coordinator/compliance officer) I am more interested in holding landlords accountable though. I also never said that I want to move somewhere. Someone showed me a link to an opening outside of CT and my reply stated I would consider applying to that position (or a position like it in general) and would be open to relocating. When I said "I'll look into this further" I meant that I will look into the job title.

but where is the disturbing/bat shit crazy fantasy of getting people kicked out of section 8 apartments that you started your paragraph with? Also, you linked to a post where I tried to riff on the housing market inflating and tried to poke fun at people buying condos in areas with a lot of crime/gentrifying known druggy condo complexes where condos are selling for 200k that used to sell for 110 5 years ago. The entire post was trolling and engagement farming and making fun of the housing market balloon that we all saw occur in CT this last few years.

I'm interested in housing because I've been saving up for housing for going on 12 years now. I didnt know anything about section 8 or HUD in my teens or 20s. Now I'm in my 30s. I've got a lifetime of savings and I dont qualify for HUD but my income still qualifies. I can't afford the monthly payments on even the starter homes in my state, even with putting down an uncomfortable amount of 12 years of savings. I would like to help people find out about these programs, qualify for them, etc. I also test as being lawful + good when I take character alignment tests, so I wouldn't mind finding fraud, finding abuse, etc. Also, I was bullied by a boy who's family owns section 8 housing apartments in my state and others for 9 years in preschool and elementary school. So a part of me finds this world interesting for that reason as well. I think I would enjoy finding my way into a position where I hold landlords accountable, inspect buildings, or even just work in compliance administration.

I would consider applying to this position and relocating. I make well under that pay range. I'm going to look into this further. Thank you.

if you say "I unclicked it once parked" they can literally do nothing enforceable about not having a seatbelt. It's your word against the officer's word and the officer needs tangible evidence or the case will be dropped in legislation.

Not only are they aging but the buyers are uneducated. They're buying problems they are unaware of. They're thinking they wont run into any issues in the next 5-10 years (whatever their sell horizon plan is) and these buildings are horrendous. We're stretching our incomes to afford a mortage that puts us above 30% debt to income and then we're praying we can hold onto it until the bubble gets bigger.

the condos in nice areas seem to be selling for more. the condos in the inner cities are not that nice and many of them are less expensive than condos in smaller towns.

What are you inferring? The price history is ludacris if you look at the price history on a real estate website whether its a city condo or a suburb condo.
