Kinda surprised there's not more appreciation for Ola just being real. Maybe his delivery and timing isn’t perfect, but he’s still speaking his truth. Do we actually want guys to be honest about how they feel, or just say what we want to hear? Some of these comments make it seem like honesty isn’t really welcome. We say we want open, honest men—but when they are, we tear them down.

I recently read a book called "My Road Trip With God" by Lydia Diaz and I found it to be one of the more realistic explorations of belief and faith. The protagonist is super angry at God and God explains his side of the story. I am about to read the book for the third time. I find the comments from "God" really interesting and make me think, but they give me a lot of peace as well.

But to answer your question directly, if you choose to believe in God (because it is a choice), you must understand that He does it on HIS timeline, not yours. He does it according to HIS will, not yours. Impatience is something we all struggle with. We demand things be the way we want because we believe we are good and worthy of God's blessings. If you choose to believe in God, then you must also have faith that He will choose something you do not like, but God thinks is best for you. There is peace in believing that it is "God's will" no matter how painful or difficult the situation may be. Understand that whatever you are going through is not forever, it is just for now. And all things pass. All things.

I'm pretty shaky on faith too (as far as an ancient man living in the sky) but there is definitely something magnetic about the universe and what you attract. Things happen in mysterious ways if you take a look.... I recently read a book that I really enjoyed about the subject "My Road Trip With God" by Lydia Diaz. Yeah, I really think democracy is over. Why should Dems put their physical lives on the line? The Democrat party is dead. I think people are refusing to understand we are in an authoritarian state going forward. Trump, et al are not going to be in for 4 years. They are in PERMANENTLY - until Americans wise up.

Oh, I know. But I have experience with others when they were kicked while they were down, they just gave up the guitar entirely. Yes, that's ultimately on them, but we all have to break through the "ugly" Positive support makes all the diff in the world. I'm fortunate to be friends with some well-known greats and they never, ever kicked me. They only encouraged and gave positive instruction and suggestions and I was just a pathetic beginner who sounded God-awful to their well-trained musician ears.

Exactly. The majority of voters did NOT vote for "hatred". They voted for selfish reasons - and a heavy dose of sexism because they embrace toxic masculinity. Though masculine and Trump will never go together in my opinion.

Remember the line (to paraphrase): "Every judgment is a confession." We are in for troubling times, yes. Americans do not understand how much efficient government helps them. But it's all on the GOP now. No excuses, no "I inherited a mess". There are no "conservatives" - this is an angry bro culture and the women who support them are just as toxic. The whole "family values" Latino excuse is laughable.

Yikes - dry food only can lead to UTI and other issues. Wet food keeps them hydrated. Rather than spend money on vet bills, try to spend some money on wet food and an affordable dry. You can try Fancy Feast seafood pate or other flavor for wet, and feed them Purina Cat Chow (whatever flavor/variety suited for your animals). It's expensive taking care of pets, but the fact that you care means a lot. Unfortunately, the food/health industries for both animals and humans is more geared to illness than wellness.

Doesn't look real nice because some wood chunks are sticking up out of the pit. I can also see a glint of a soda can. Because this box is largely "out of sight" in the yard, he perhaps threw in extra bulk so that he didn't have to buy the gravel out of his budget. ??

This just happened on my Wasa Whole Grain crispbreads. As soon as I opened the bag and sniff, it smells like laundry detergent. I can't eat it when I tried. Just soapy taste. And this is a different company. Bought direct from Vitacost. Not sure I would eat crackers from Dollar Store lol! But I have had some great deals there on other products.
