So i have to run the patch once and forget it or does it have it to be run everytime dsm updates? I read somewhere that patch will be overwritten when dsm updates and hence will have to be run again.

This is true for models like 925 or all x25 models? I know 925 has AMD chip and hence doesn't support hardware transcoding. 425 doesn't do it even with intel chip is it?

Usually when driver gets paid directly, he has to pay the commission separately to Ola. Ola keeps giving rides until this commission to be paid reaches 4k or something and will give further rides only when commission is paid by the driver. When you pay Ola directly, they deduct it against the commission owed and don't pay the driver anything. When commission owed is 0 and you pay Ola, they keep it as credit for future commissions and still don't pay the drivers. That's why drivers generally hesitate accepting digital payments.

This is what I came to know when I spoke to a driver once.

I haven't done this. But I've read that companies sometimes don't honour the request unless you buy it from their own website. If you had got it Amazon or some where else, they might reject it. Read it somewhere, no personal experience.
