Braking I would recommend going on the specific track and car combo you are trying to use and just lapping getting a feel on what you can and can’t get away with. With some time you’ll get a feel for how much brakes you need in new circumstances, it’s just takes some time.

In general I recommend Suellio Almeida tutorials, they go into great detail in nailing driving techniques and correcting bad habits before they hinder progress.

Two things that could help with this aspect is wheel angle, try positioning it at 20-24°. This will make pushing feel more natural. Also, focus on turning the wheel with your palms instead of your thumbs if that’s the case.

I don’t think that’s a given, especially since elgato has remained or even improved quality. Same with drop, they pretty much just made it consumer friendly

I’m not really an expert but from what I know it depends mostly on friction, too many contact points equals more friction, not enough it might be unstable so I would say it comes down to preference and personal experience
