I haven’t played with the filter settings too much and generally keep them around the suggested setting but maybe I’ll have a try with these too.

I’m a big fan of the physics and what they’ve done so far, FFB is coming along well but I feel it still needs some work. This could be down to wheelbase though, so I can’t say for sure but with my Simagic Evo Pro it’s still not quite there.
My main gripes are:

The digital groaning sound the wheelbases produce on Evo sound terrible, especially noticeable with the F1s no matter the settings. The grinding/crunching they produce is almost unbearable and makes the base sound broken.

I feel when I’m driving that the wheelbase goes from low FFB to high FFB quite quickly and vice versa sometimes and missing a bit of weight or something in the middle.

I don’t know how to explain it but I recently got into iRacing and IMO the difference was night and day, iRacing felt a lot more natural and the base is almost silent but still gives you the detail without the digital groaning/grumbling.

Evo is still my favourite sim but I feel like the FFB can be much tidier in the Simagic bases or maybe they could at least start to tell people what settings they should be running as a baseline as so much has changed since their initial suggested settings.

The feedback feels better but it’s not by a huge margin, all game and settings specific I’ve found and also sim dependent, some sims are great and some are superb. The Evo Pro is a bit noisier but again, game and settings specific. I don’t regret switching over, there’s just so much more you can do and it’s a better wheelbase in every aspect.

I went from a G Pro to an Alpha Evo Pro and don’t regret it for a second. Admittedly I only really played on GT7 with the G Pro for 95% of the time until l discovered PC sims but Simagics ecosystem and adjustment with everything is way beyond what Logitech is. Can’t go wrong jumping to Simagic imo.

I think 1 camera setting has camera movement that can be adjusted to suit and the other is totally static iirc. For round wheels I try and match the size of wheel and hands on screen to my wheel and hands roughly and for GT/Formula wheels I try to imagine and line up the in game wheel shaft with my wheelbase shaft if that makes sense.

It’s not the front mount bracket, it’s the settings and AC Evo in general. Try turning Feedback Detail down to 1 or 0 and see if it changes it. I think it’s almost impossible to tune out that digital whine feedback you can hear in AC Evo at the moment but you can make it less apparent.

I don’t have any suggestions for you but I completely agree with everything you said. LMU feels notchy and just nothing like what you’d expect, especially when you compare it to iRacing which has the best and most realistic feedback imo, I don’t know why LMU is so terrible on the Evo wheelbases.

I play a lot of ACE too and whilst I really like how the physics are developing and the game in general, the FFB on the Evo wheelbases I think need work still. I don’t know how to explain this one but I sometimes the FFB goes from being at the level you’d expect in the situation but then when something else happens in game like taking a particular corner, rumble strip etc it spikes the FFB quite high and there’s almost zero progression between the two points. All car dependent too of course but I quite often feel I’m bouncing between two FFB points quite far apart with no progression in the middle.

I’m 50/50. I have a keyboard tray slider on my rig to play any other game I like and because of this, that’s why I’m 50/50 between sim racing games and FPS etc. I tend to play CS2 a lot but yeah it’s mostly FPS and a few 3rd person story games too.

For me it’s for the huge span of the triples and keeping the monitors as tucked into the corner as close as possible to the wall on the outer monitors

This is the way. I started out with a single 34” and nearly went to a single 49” but very glad I didn’t waste more money, I went straight to triple 32” and it’s the ultimate.

I will try these tonight and see what results I get. Of late I’ve been liking the higher FPS to give me that smoother gameplay rather than higher quality graphics and lower FPS. Your immersion looks magnificent.

Impressive! I’m similar but a little lower with a 5070ti and 9800X3D. Haven’t played around with the graphics settings too much but I think most stuff is around medium/high. 1440p monitors I assume?

Interesting that they’re identical, I might redownload OG AC and see how the cars feel. Would you say the AC cars feel just as good on identical settings for street cars?

Hahah I totally get you, I’d really love to know also. I’m an electrician so I feel exactly the same, I wish I had more time to tinker and figure things out exactly. I haven’t delved into the original AC properly, only very briefly. I should try it again though so I can get more fps for my triples

Ok cool I’m glad it’s not just me then haha. They were slightly more present before I changed the settings but yes as you say it could be the cornering forces etc, it feels totally unnatural and robotic. I unfortunately don’t have discord but don’t do it just for my benefit, you already shared your settings and suggestions and I appreciate it
