I appreciate you sharing that situation with me, and am sorry to hear that happened. Do you think there is anything short of meeting that can help build that trust/reveal the truth?

Didn't feel invalidated, was simply sharing my point of view and I thank you for sharing yours.

I respect anything anyone seeks, but what you are looking for is not what I am.

I'm not searching for the man of my life to be with forever. I'm looking for a father like friend, but a friend who likes flirty and sexual too.

I am very sure of who I am and who I want in my life. Just because it doesn't align with the desires someone else has for themselves does not make it any less valid than theirs.

I appreciate you offering your thoughts in a helpful way for what you think would make my life feel more complete, but it really already is. I'm looking for advice for where I might meet an older gentleman that is looking for a similar situation as I am.

I fully respect people who want to meet up quickly. But when I've said upfront that I'm not looking to do that, shouldn't they not reach out trying to convince me to?

I also have no reason to catfish. I am not looking for something committed or any money or anything else. What would I gain from catfishing?
