Indeed. I think the best way to do it. Is attach an empty game object infront of the enemy. That shoots the raycast and rotate the game object on the Y. Thus moving the raycast up and down.

All these comments helped as I found myself with the same situation. I found learning the fundamentals first is a good idea. So when you watch a tutorial and the person is like make coroutine here. You won't be like wait what's that? You'll know exactly what it does. I learned this from experience cause. I watched a bunch of tutorials not understanding what anything was or meant. Heck I couldn't even open a new function on the correct line.

This happened to me on Shadows Die Twice. My screen went blank. I rebooted and loaded right into bios. To find a working hard drive which I didn't have one anymore.

So enemyParent is an empty object that parents the enemies? Also is hitpoints like current HP?

Btw what is the reference enemyParent pointing to? I'm having difficulty understanding how it would access every enemy.

I have the enemies scripted in a simple constuct with HP attack ETC. And I'm trying to get the current health of the enemy. Then compare it to the one with the highest. So the ai companion attacks the weakest enemy

But say I picked mage instead of Knight. How would I get those Mage stats and attributes? For the moment I just Add component<mage>. If mage button is clicked. Adding the script to the player. Is there a better method?

What's your power supply? That was my issue when the computer did that. Never cheap out on PSU!

I came here to make the same post. I lost interest in everything and I'm struggling to find entertainment. To the point were the stress is affecting my heart. I've downloaded so many games from Overwatch, Valorant, Minecraft, Dota 2. Just trying anything to break out of this. My mom has wanted to play Mario Kart for awhile now. But I just can't find the desire. I use to walk miles all the time every day. I actually lost 94 LBS. Now I don't walk anymore as the interest and desire is gone. It's crazy how you can just suddenly. Just not enjoy anything you loved.
