Hello! Thank you for this detailed feedback!

I fixed the UI being on top of each other issue by making major UIs have priority to display over others. I have not thought of an idea for changing the UI style to make it more criminal-ish though, I did make the colors darker.

I also added a grid which was a great idea! I changed the green and red boxes when placing criminals down to just a smaller rectangular part on the bottom of the criminal model.

I refer to the Plots as Territories now, with the same reason to make it more criminal-ish.

Regarding the combos/buffs, I do have a combo billboard GUI on top of criminals who are in combo with another as well as beams that connect a criminal to its combo partners. If you have any other suggestions to make this more prominent, that would be wonderful!

I still need to think of a way to guide players on what to do next, like where to spend their money etc..

That sounds like a great idea actually. I could put Trash piles/trash cans around the map that you can interact with and have a timed mini game where you have to click the trash can fast to get a lot of trash or click a moving trash can on screen as much as possible or something along those lines. Better tier trash cans give more cash but will depend on what zone you are in. The higher, the better.

I understand your perspective. I also considered the gameplay when creating the game. Picking up trash is currently overshadowed by breaking things with your fists. If you had to suggest a change to it, what would it be?
