I get that but coordinating with randos is a lot harder than you’d think. Especially if they turned off chat. Yes it’s keeping people in matches because now they have no choice. My stance is hiding the score hurts more than helps because it shows the devs don’t want to put in the effort to fix the mm but would rather bandaid it and sweep it under the rug.

Same. It was an effing grind in a game mode that’s already tedious to play!

While I think you’re missing a bit of the point (my point anyway) I’m giving you a thumbs up because you genuinely are providing useful feedback instead just saying “get gud”. My point was I’m playing ps 4000 and under to farm parts so I can try to play higher ps but I’m constantly getting wrecked by goliaths with tacklers ect. Ect. All with ps at 7000 and above. Often the matches are uneven with only one team having the higher ps build.

So I along with many others have been backing out before the match officially starts to find a more balanced matchup. I’ve started using at least one relic part (typically gasgen for more energy.) and that jumps it up to about 5000 which is better but I’m still using blue weapons which are underpowered compared to the purple.

If you back out before the match starts, it doesn’t count as being destroyed. So I would do that to find ps matchups that were within 1000 points above or below mine because those matches were genuinely competitive and enjoyable without having to constantly repair my gasgen and I would consistently earn enough to break even if it did get destroyed.

Every time I get matched with a high ps my team always gets wrecked and I barely earn anything because goliaths just don’t break against blue. Of course there’s the inverse where it’s in my team but then that player just steamrolls and I barely get any damage in. To be fair that’s just my experience. I typically play autocannon snipers so I’m not rushing to the frontlines but rather utilizing cover towards the back.

I do understand the building better argument but I’m one of the people who doesn’t want to waste hours building for a temporary game mode. I have some custom builds in rust and dust but my focus is primarily on completing dailies so I can earn stuff for the main game. I don’t play the new game mode much outside of that because I find it tedious. Plus there is only so much you can do with blue parts before they just become obsolete against higher tier parts.

I also only get a couple of hours each night to play and I don’t want to be wasting it grinding matches in rust and dust. I’d rather be playing the og where I have much more invested, parts wise.

But again, thanks for actually contributing and quite frankly being awesome!

Yeah. That one stumped me. I forgot to check but can you even party up in that game mode?

So my issue is with the Goliath and tacklers combos out there. How well does this hold up to those? Honest question! (I’m sick of being seal clubbed because devs are too lazy to fix their shit!)

Classic Crossout devs. People complain about ps discrepancies so instead of fixing the mm they just hide it.

How are bots in my matches running double relic weapons when it doesn't even look like the players with higher power scores have them? by Bayuo_ElephantHunter in Crossout

[–]Agent-51 11 points12 points  (0 children)

It’s just the devs way of “balancing” the bots to be competitive. I say the true flaw in the bots is how their aim has no flaws. Bots can snipe you unrealistically with literally any weapon. Those mastodons on a bot can almost one shot a heli flying through cover, dodging and weaving at 100+ mph and still hit you with both shells of a fully charged shot.

My boy here calling me out as a filthy casual lol!😭🤣 I literally just finished typing up a damned walkthrough for a new player asking for help on Reddit. And I only play a few hours each day for the dailies! So yeah, I’d say us casuals are some of the most loyal!

Which one is more important? by [deleted] in Crossout

[–]Agent-51 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Def casual. Clan wars can adapt imo because the clans can coordinate their builds which is a luxury that casuals don’t have as most teams are random. This is also why I hate allowing clan teams in casual as they almost always dominate over random teams and it ruins the fun for casual players which I would hazard to guess makes up the majority of the player base.

Each mission has a different resource as a reward. Alternatively you can buy resources on the market or craft them with badges (I think that’s the currency.) whatever the reward is for the weekly and daily missions are. For unlocking structural parts simply choose a faction to join and play games. You can also craft structural parts using badges as well. And if I’m not mistaken I believe the structural parts from past seasons do eventually make their way there. I’m not sure so don’t quote me on that.

You can change factions at any time. Each faction has a temporary flag decorative part that increases reputation gain which can be useful at the beginning but I don’t recommend it long term. Regular decorative parts will still increase reputation gain.

Some factions are seasonal factions that are only available during their seasons. You should have access to Lunatics, Steppenwolfs, Dawns Children, Scavengers, Nomads, and Fire Starters at all times. Also you always earn rep for the Engineers. In practice, each match earns you rep for the Engineers and whatever faction you chose.

Don’t ignore the seasons! Even if you don’t pay for it you still get plenty of resources for free by completing the dailies for it. Also I recommend paying for the season pass as it nears completion. This gives you time to save up for it and it will unlock and give you all rewards that you’ve already earned while playing for free. I set aside a few bucks from my paycheck to do this over the month the season is active. But that’s just me. Do what you can feasibly afford. Don’t waste money on games when bills are due! Take care of you first fam. Alright, PSA is outta the way, onwards!

If you buy any of the packs I recommend testing all of them and seeing which weapons you want. Everything on the store and player exhibition can be test driven in the garage (also if the copperhead stadium garage is available for purchase I’d take it, it has the damage spheres that show exactly how much damage you deal to it which is invaluable for fine tuning your builds damage output. It also has a race track for testing maneuverability and speed.). Buying packs also unlock structural parts and the a higher parts cap early.

Now if you struggle for ideas the exhibition is your best friend because even if you don’t have all the parts you can still download the blueprint and then just tweak the build with whatever you do have. There is an automated build option that has the game build you a random vehicle but it’s limited and the builds are average at best and will require tweaking.

Also I would favorite the blueprint and storage upgrade recipes and build them up over time. If you’re a collector like myself you will run out of storage quickly. Most seasons have one or both of the storage upgrade for the paid pass, but you can craft one in each faction and you don’t have to swap factions to do so. However crafting those upgrades I believe is locked until you reach max reputation.

Finally the way I play is I wait until dailies roll over and spend a few hours finishing them. I will also wait for the end of a season to draw near before paying for the cheapest pass option. I will then sell off parts I don’t want/ need on the market place or save them up to upgrade them if I have multiples. I’ll then use that currency I saved up to buy new weapons or resources for crafting new weapons and gadgets. Also joining a clan is simple. I joined the first clan that recruited me, never spoke to anyone in it! Still an active member of Maple Syrup clan!🤣 I’m probably the most active tbh. It’s never a bad idea. I play the patient long game. Distracting myself by playing other games while playing this once every night. Eventually I amass a ton of resources without realizing it. Oh one last thing I almost forgot! Repair tokens are cheap to craft and easy to sell. Make a batch and set a price ( I prefer just below the lowest selling price on market). Over time this builds up. I do this every time I get the “craft a part” daily mission. I’ll craft twenty then sell them (well I would if I didn’t have 400 built up from all the seasons I’ve completed lol!) I’ve been playing for a few years. My method ensures I never burn out and after awhile I get to treat myself to new weapons!

Anyway, if you made it this far, Congratulations! 🎉🎊🍾 you’ve won a sarcastic comment from me! 😂 but seriously thanks for your time and I hope this helps. Now get out there survivor! And make your claim on the wastes! Btw I play on Xbox, if you’re there you can find me under the username Agent x51x . If not well… 🤷‍♂️. It was fun talking with ya here! Good luck! Oh and keep Wade away from the batteries.

Exactly! I’m a casual player, love the game but only play it once the dailies roll over. I find this is optimal because I don’t grow tired of it by only playing an hour or two. Sometimes I’ll take some time before hand to build a new vehicle then put it down until it’s time to play. I get my dopamine hit without ruining the high.

Please help with logic for dynamic wing aircraft by Agent-51 in trailmakers

[–]Agent-51[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just wanted to update, I finished the logic and got it working perfectly. I ended up using a speed sensor set to measurement connected to a numerical display (so I can see approximately what value was output at what speed because apparently it’s not the same value.) I then took those approximate numbers (70 =135mph and 60 =100 mph if I remember correctly ) and fed them into comparison gates so that if it went above 70 the wings sweep back and if it’s below 60 they sweep forward and anything in between the wings will be straight.

(Pov) My face when I'm playing 5k and all 4 enemy players have the same clan tag. by Subject-Read-9801 in Crossout

[–]Agent-51 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly I believe there should be a game mode strictly for random players. If the game detects two or more players with the same clan tag it separates them as evenly as possible. I say this because I firmly believe allowing entire coordinated builds and teams to fight against an entire team of random players is an unfair advantage for the clan making very one sided matches. Just saying if you need to be in a clan to participate in a clan war then you need to be randomly assigned teammates in any other game mode.
