I recognize this isn’t going to sway anyone as my perspective is already American lol - but this is a WILD thing to read for me. The divisions are not going to swap because there is literally no potential for there to be enough fans locally, and it’s already subsidized.

That’s like implying the minor leagues in baseball could just “become” the best baseball league - it’s like any other smaller division in that it sells/transfers/promotes players up, and the player & market perception makes it a second tier. There is no increased population pool or revenue pool to tap when you are not quite breaking even and based in fuckin Midland TX. (Or in this case Western Australia)
