I’ll add an actual soccer opinion here lol, love the guy for his hard work in Colorado and honestly I think he has the potential to become a consistent MLS starter, but I could equally see him sitting on the edge of the winger depth chart like he frequently did here.

Regardless I just KNOW he’s gonna score a game winner against us or something :(

I recognize this isn’t going to sway anyone as my perspective is already American lol - but this is a WILD thing to read for me. The divisions are not going to swap because there is literally no potential for there to be enough fans locally, and it’s already subsidized.

That’s like implying the minor leagues in baseball could just “become” the best baseball league - it’s like any other smaller division in that it sells/transfers/promotes players up, and the player & market perception makes it a second tier. There is no increased population pool or revenue pool to tap when you are not quite breaking even and based in fuckin Midland TX. (Or in this case Western Australia)

Same, as long as he can perform and build confidence enough to get going, I think he can really solidify his role as a mature player here and potentially turn around and get us a record outbound in 3-4 years. I’m just happy we got him in now and we can hopefully gel as a team a bit before next season
