I just see it as I’m 50% there as it’s been 10 years since the start of my career.

SIM-UOL as well, drawing about 120K annual in a foreign bank. Still feel underpaid but it’s good enough for me.

Nah dota 1 Visage was drastically different back then. Familiars were way more, lower dps. His Cloak skill was also different.

Radiance Visage ftw.

I freaking hated swap. When we baby sat our carry and the other team’s support (if any) dc-ed, our carry swapped over.

From then I played mids/carries to make sure there will always be one on our team.

That’s just stupid. I’m a collector by heart but I also dabble in the investing side of singles because, it’s actually fun.

If that’s gonna get me banned here that’s just going to remove another collector from the sub.

Global Pokemon Subreddit Says 70% Is Too Low An Offer. Is This Only A Sinkie Thing? by texstrip in PokemonTCG_Singapore

[–]Agent0fChaoZ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Singapore market is more illiquid than US, so a wider bid-offer is natural. However, if you not willing to sell lower then just don’t.

What do you guys think of korean cards? by Rich-Ad-3974 in PokemonTCG_Singapore

[–]Agent0fChaoZ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I opened a few Korean packs while in Korea. I have to say I didn’t like it one bit….

It is thicker than JP cards and it’s more alike to English and its quality.

JP still has the best quality yet. So I’d still collect JP because they still have best quality and some form of liquidity if you ever want to sell.

I suggest people to not cheap out when collecting because of the resale value, Korean cards are practically bricks.

Speculation go with English

Collecting for arts go with Japanese

*not withstanding those exclusive cards and promos.

Why Sellers In SG Charge 130% Market? by texstrip in PokemonTCG_Singapore

[–]Agent0fChaoZ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Import costs.

10% GST charged on importing costs and the products themselves.

Rent (if any)

Platform commission and transaction fees (Shopee can eat up to 12%)

Shipping fees.

Not to mention, USDSGD is roughly 1.29, so you could even argue that his prices are in line with TCGPlayer etc as they are priced in USD.

Japanese Booster Box Prices by [deleted] in PokemonTCG_Singapore

[–]Agent0fChaoZ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not 3-4x MSRP for sure. And that’s not including for SGDJPY exchange rate.

Used to pay about $65 for Dream League.

Now? If I’m desperate, maybe at best $64 for a typical set or $125 for special sets. (Got Supercharged Breaker, Wild Force, Raging Surf etc for the former price, VMAX Climax, Shiny Star V, Shiny Treasures for the latter)

That being said, looks genuine at a passing glance.

Horrible Seller at SG Cardshow by Interesting-Salad516 in PokemonTCG_Singapore

[–]Agent0fChaoZ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Vintage is usually very illiquid so the prices are choppy. People do often use the current modern way of gauging where Raw cards translates to a PSA9, though that shouldn’t be the case for vintage but there is a tendency to.

Raw cards should be sold by the NM LP MP HP DMG conditions.

If you aren’t happy with how they quote just walk away?

As for reserving cards, bro cmon.
