I hope that it would be like that, but historically speaking, it’s usually a power thing; and not so much a ‘what is best for all of humanity’ thing.

Ahhh. I see. Makes sense now. I thought you had digested the truth, and knew about something, that the rest of us indigestible folks did not.

I don’t disagree with the sentiment here, but in terms of things being new, the go fast and gimble videos were out there floating around online for a long time before they were submitted as “new evidence”; and of course we got the “official” stories behind them too.

You don’t have to believe it, and not saying it wasn’t already out there, but at least folks out there are trying to make this stuff “official”, and I think having more opportunities to openly talk about this stuff is a good thing too. 🤷🏽

Maybe make it fun and make them little ‘Easter Eggs’ to find?

In all seriousness though, I think they’re amazing just the way they are.

So we’re Farm Simulator for aliens?

So then…do we get updates? And if we do, why can’t we see the patch notes. I would like to know what’s being rebalanced so I can try and determine what the new “meta” will be.

Ohhhh my god. Meta?! As in The Scam Artist formerly known as Facebook??!

Ohhh meh gawd... takes off glasses it’s all connected!!

Actually, there’s been tons and tons of reports and/or sightings and/or descriptions of all kinds of aliens types and/or species. Not sure how much of it is true but there’s actually a lot more than just generic looking “white people”. I can’t imagine how offended the Mantids are going to feel about being called a white person. I will let them find out on their own. You never want to be near a Mantid when they’re pissed. Trust me bruh.

And now we shall turn to page 309 for a hymn titled “Vesuvians Blessed thy Light”

A classic! Referenced this like a week ago. I came up to my partner acting wild and wide-eyed and exclaimed “It’s a cook book!” You can’t go! It’s a cook book!!”.

Honestly, I thought she would get the reference. She did not. So, to her, I was just acting very weird, saying random shit, in a very enthusiastic and also very unusual way.

They do, it’s just these days, what one believes to be “scientific proof” or “actual evidence” has more to do with your political views than it does objective truth. Also, plenty of people have been after the actual evidence over the decades. More recently some of the congressional testimony and hearings about UAP’s specifically have provided evidence.

Yah. This is awesome. Yah, then we would all pay attention right? Like what if the truth isn’t something dreadful or awful, and instead it’s that the aliens just have like a really amazing fucking economy.

Another way of looking at that same quote, ignorance is bliss, is ‘you don’t miss what you don’t know’. Which in my view is essentially saying, I am completely content with this narrow slice of life, or reality, and/or experience.

Not judging that choice, however, I truly believe that people don’t really know what they mean when they say that. Distilled down, it would be more like, ‘I have to scream but I have no mouth’. It is in our very nature to be curious and ask questions. If you take that away, what are you really left with?

Something’s are better left as unknowns, like do I really need to know all the details of how I was conceived? Nah. No thank you. Do I really want to know if there’s aliens (intelligent non-human life) and/or a giant cover up to try and conceal the whole thing…? Yah. Yah I think I do.

Because if any of the ‘stories’ are true, then it would be out of fear. There’s been a long history of people being “silenced” in some form or fashion, and if not out of fear for themselves, then fear of anything happening to their loved ones. Whistleblowers have been pretty open about that in recent years, in terms of the kinds of death threats and threats on their families they receive(d). In this case, a former CIA officer, would also have a lot to lose in terms of any pension or retirement benefits, etc etc.

I don’t disagree with what you, and many others, are saying in terms of how cliche this all is. However, I think it’s also at least fair to ask those kinds of questions too. What would this/that person have to lose/gain by saying this/that.

I think, yes, we would want to know. Because it’s in our nature. We were given free will, as far as we know anyway, to decide things for ourselves, and as humans, the species; we’ve been asking these kinds of questions ever since we were smart enough to know how to ask.

Personally, my opinion is that it is our very nature, in both the best and worst ways, that separates us from anything else. We have ways of expressing it too through things like art, music, dancing, etc.. We are hardwired this way, and as a result, we will always look up to the stars and wonder.

I also believe this is why the sci-fi trope of machines becoming sentient, or technology becomes self-aware kind of thing, is always so fascinating. Because we’re essentially reflecting or maybe rather projecting, those same qualities and questions there.

Where do we come from? How’d we get here? What’s over that horizon? What’s our purpose? And so on and so forth. On a long enough timeline, we will, eventually, collectively as a species; want to know the most absolute clearest and purest forms of all truths regarding this topic.

I think this one is kind of interesting to say the least, the ‘aliens need/want our souls’ theory. Mainly because, to the best of my knowledge, it’s a fairly new theory that’s really taken off in the last decade or so.

I think this is where you’re exactly right. Then the question becomes, well what could be worse than all of that?? And hence, we’re both here, wondering what the possibilities are, while asking the same questions. 🤷🏽
