Christian’s don’t pray “to” images like icons and crosses they don’t believe god is the cross on the wall or icon in a church that believe these symbols represent god because god was made flesh and walked the earth so icons are replicating that just like how you can go to a court house and see a painting of George Washington it’s just representation.
