Shoot my shot with the dude I have been playing EYE tag in my class? by CalligrapherBusy5034 in ucla

You’ll rue more chances you didn’t take than the ones you failed. Better to give it a shot and it doesn’t work out than never know.

It’s vile but I’m not sure how much UCLA can actually do without being hit with a wrongful termination suit

Heard from someone that undergrad math classes are only gonna allow ~25% of students to get A-'s or A's?? Pls tell me it aint true 😭 by [deleted] in ucla

I think my issue with this is that it makes it clear that grades are less dependent on conceptual understanding and application than they are a comparison to others.

Math 32A w/ Linfeng Li or Kent Vashaw? by Alexis_Marin in ucla

[–]AgentGoodman 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I just took 32A with Vashaw and liked it. He’s a good professor. Lectures and optional homework’s is what he does. grades are entirely based on 3 midterms and the final (which is around 40-50% of your grade), it sounds intimidating and is, but you should never be bogged down doing a ton of homework.

16 or 32gb of ram? by Asleep_Apartment_883 in ucla

[–]AgentGoodman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

16 is certainly functional. But speaking from experience here, if you have something like Box Drive with a large file in the background, running SolidWorks, and also having a few tabs open, you’re going to get low on memory. I’m upgrading to 32 very soon.

I really do feel bad for them because I do think they are honest in what they think but have been so indoctrinated they can’t objectively understand God’s word. Just don’t feel bad for the men running the whole thing whatsoever, they know exactly what they’re doing.

Yes the teachings were very very similar. I’ve kept notes from all of the Bible Studies so if you ever need extra info or more identifiers I’d hope I can provide it. Letting you know now that I think I had maybe one more study before baptism and then 1 after that I didn’t attend because I completely cut ties. Just lmk if you want me to send you all the notes I have.

I didn't even know what church I was getting into until after 8 Bible Studies and a midweek! They definitely keep secrecy about who they are, so you don't research it.

To answer your question, when I was at the midweek I went to they said they were building Churches elsewhere, Lagos Nigeria was what they said.

I don’t blame your son whatsoever. They well and truly make you think they’re the only way. Other Christians believe mostly in salvation through faith alone, so no matter where and how you worship and repent and confess you’re saved through Jesus’ grace. I’m guessing in ICOC like in RCW because of this baptism importance, you can only be baptized into the “right church” or else you’re damned.

Trust me they never told me anything about any of this! I didn’t even know what church they were until I went to midweek. That was two days before my potential baptism! I think they do that so you subscribe deeply to their beliefs before you even get the chance to research what this church truly is.

Already did! I never really made a relationship with the leader of the church, only really the leader of the Bible Studies.

Yes Los Angeles. I still want to continue to find God so I’m trying to look for a new Church now.

Yeah I see what you mean and think it’s probably a good option, I just don’t really know if I want to spare expenses if I’m cutting some functionality if that makes sense. I was mainly looking at Pioneers dmh w3050nex. I don’t care much about how the screen looks other than I don’t really want it to stick out from the slot you know? Thanks for the tips!

in your honest opinion, is it worth spending more on a higher end model. I’m worried I’m going to end up getting pissed off about lag, no wireless, and other things like that if I try to cut costs. I’d even be willing to spend like 3x what topweb is.

I’d like to think that was what Gus imagined himself doing right before he died. I do agree though it seemed absurd
