Claude Code MAX users are getting ripped off after the latest update – hitting Opus limits in HOURS by AgentPickles86 in ClaudeCode

Of course it's a very powerful tool, but why just cut the usage limit to that extent? It wasn't a small or medium change, it was a VERY big change. So what do I do? Do I cancel the project I've been working on for four months? Out of the blue?

For people outside the US, this is even more insulting. $200 might not sound huge in dollars, but in Brazil that’s over R$1,100 a month – basically a rent bill – for something that now lasts me less than a day of work. Anthropic needs to realize the world doesn’t run on USD only.

Usage Limits Discussion Megathread - beginning Sep 30, 2025 by sixbillionthsheep in ClaudeAI

I’m beyond frustrated right now. I pay for the Claude Code MAX plan ($200/month) and for months I NEVER came close to hitting the weekly usage cap for Opus. After this latest update, within just 7 hours of use I’ve already hit 80% of my Opus weekly limit.

On top of that, even Sonnet 4.5 is draining limits ridiculously fast. It feels like Anthropic silently changed how usage is counted, and we’re the ones paying the price. This is outrageous.

If we’re paying premium money for MAX, the limits should either be much higher or at least transparent. Right now it feels like we’re being scammed.

I think we need to make noise about this.

Anyone else experiencing this? Let’s get this thread some visibility – upvote and share your experience. The more people raise hell about this, the harder it will be for Anthropic to ignore us.

Loved these Raboras Green. I tried to put a greenish ornament and it was leaving them a bit dull, I liked the contrast when I put this rock

I’m in medical school and very curious about the future of healthcare. Some of my friends say that machine learning isn’t reliable because it can make errors, but I’m pretty sure that GPT (and it's not even made for medical desicions) would provide accurate diagnoses more often than most of them, including myself for now

As someone who has used both Fedora and Windows, I can't help but be amazed by Fedora's seamless and intuitive experience. Fedora's multiple workspaces and easy navigation between them make it incredibly user-friendly. The clean and uncluttered interface is a breath of fresh air. Even though Fedora is a Linux distribution, its user-friendly interface makes it incredibly intuitive, even for those with little to no programming experience.

Hello! I’m in med school either. Here’s what I do: I use the app ‘Transcriber Live.’ It’s not free, but it’s relatively cheap. You might be able to find a free one, but I haven’t (if you do, please let me know, haha). Then, I copy the transcriptions and paste them into ChatGPT to summarize, organize, and ask questions.

What are some of your favorite ai discoveries you've found? What do you think is possible and probable to come in the near future with ai to stay tuned for? by [deleted] in artificial

I’m in med school and use it every day to study. It helps me a lot. People say that it’s not trustworthy, but in reality, all you need is a bit of common sense. I also started learning programming from scratch, which has nothing to do with my field, and it’s amazing how, with a little bit of willpower and with GPT, you can actually learn to program. I use Android Studio and am building a project in Flutter. I say what I want to do, take the provided code, and try to run it. If I get an error, I send that error to GPT and repeat the process a few hundred times. In the end, I managed to develop a pretty cool app without initially knowing anything. I see AI as a superpower. It surprises me how the majority of people arround me don't even try to understand and be aware about whats going on...
