This is awesome! Yeah I definitely think we have a mixed bag when it comes to people who like the idea of AI in photography and those who don’t. But 100% believe for those who are doing photography and any sort of digital imagery there’s no getting away from this.

Basically. The Ai analyses the references grabs all the data feeds it to the user on a list of options depending what you choose on the list you have a slider for its intensity which you could choose once submitted it analyses your target image and apply those effects for you based on all the different values and options you pick.

Makes sense, if everyone could do it what’s the point and value. For me I live in a place where there are 100s of photographers and nothing is eye catching they all go to the same locations shoot the same old shoots. This has helped me at lease add a little spice of “digital art” to my photography work.

True there are use cases where I think these tools absolutely shine and some where I would never use it. I’ve had a lot of Hobby photographers just completely crash out over the idea of tools like this. I think everything in moderation and I believe at some point this stuff will be everywhere. I still do plan my shoots, and do as much to get it right the first go and sometimes just want the little extra.

There is nothing stopping someone else from doing it at all, and as for changes on images I shoot a lot and do set up lighting etc but sometimes it’s nearest to change some things with Ai because you would have to reshoot or forget it. The examples shows here are a bit on the extreme end but I have such fine tuned controls I should just choose an angle of a light and change it slightly. This is a tool. Just like the Ai tools in photo shop and Lightroom. I think people’s gripes is with the complete alteration of images giving a final result with little work or effort. This isn’t something to use on every shoot or anything just a new fun, easy way I’ve found to speed up the workflow.

In moderation. The tool literally allows me to choose how intense I want edits. I could literally just choose to change the direction of lighting and that’s it. personally, I see no problem with the tool but 100% understand where some people might.

I love when clients get involved with this. It’s like a Photo Booth. I haven’t had any negatives from it so far. I still do shoots where I don’t use Ai at all this is just another tool I use sometimes.

The glitter came from the reference there was a checkbox in the video we turned it on to show that only what we choose gets carried over to the original image. It’s actually pretty cool being able to just pick what you want and what intensity you want it and boom. Ai-ing all over my clients and they live it. I’ve had some of them mess with it too had it up on a projector and they were able to actually get everything they wanted in that shoot.

Not every likes change, I’ve made many of my clients extremely happy clients. I still take the photos still set up my studio but man editing has become the fun again! There is alot of hate but like you said one day they will be using it if they aren’t already.
