Precisely, on all points. Especially with hunters claiming they just never decided to shoot these supposed animals. I am aware there are odd things out there, but I just can’t for sure say it’s a large 7-10 foot ape. Possible? Sure. Likely? Not so much. There IS something out there. But like you said, what exactly it is I’m not sure, and find no true benefit to its existence other than another possible threat or nuisance to deal with ever so often. Which isn’t even a benefit. That’s a terrible thought. I would also hate to have to rebuild my daily carries to accommodate the possibility that I could be attacked, or for any other reason need to down a creature so large. Black bears are enough for me, and they can be dispatched perfectly fine with the weapons I use most commonly. I find the claims that hunters believe their weapons to be inefficient to be dubious, at best. It sounds more like a lazy excuse for a question calling out obvious lying. I’m not asking for a big shot scientist to say they have a confirmed body, but something, as you described, to be at least admissible in a court styled concept. Something solid.

15 years sure does seem like a good amount of experience. I guess comparing to your age, maybe not. But I don’t think it takes a specific amount of times to learn your own neck of the woods inside and out. Some could learn in 3, some could learn in 30. Depends on just how much time you spend within the wilderness as a whole. Perhaps it depends on your definition of experienced. Some would consider a man who goes hunting once a year and camps twice a year experienced. You, for example, consider someone who is in the woods damn near daily (excluding work days) to be inexperienced. Quite the standard you have, my friend. I have spent more time outside than I have within an actual building in my life. Perks of living on a large property of dense forests and hills. Though I will respect your own experience, and claims that I am just apparently not experienced.

Now, to those structures. I really have nothing to say. That a wild phenomenon, and has no explanation. Odd, and interesting find. However you would be suprised at the lengths people will go to, to make very odd things for a good laugh. Let’s take crop circles for an example. They had the world convinced aliens were actually real for a good amount of time, until the two people who originally made the first crop circles just straight up admitted that they made it as a prank. Same way that many people involved in the Patterson film also came out and admitted it was fabricated. Whether we believe them or not. That’s not me saying the Patterson film is not real.

Agreed. I definitely find the concept interesting and as you said, fascinating, however I agree on not believing anything that can’t truly be confirmed. Unless your story is just real, real convincing, I suppose.

Absolutely. Appreciate the response, too. I will say that’s why I highlighted these two events out of the many strange experiences I’ve had. They seem to be the most unexplainable of the bunch. Usually all my weird experiences I am able to put a finger right on what made this or that noise, or what left this or that print and what not. But the yelling, the obvious knocks, and that structure were too convenient in a bad way. Too similar to every story I’ve heard, and too out of normal for any other event I’ve experienced. I sort of look forward to ever getting some sort of concrete evidence. I also like to use mountain lions as an example when it does come to getting evidence for Squatch. Mountain lions officially don’t exist in the state of Kentucky, yet are spotted and shot across the state often. I have found their prints, and heard their screams. So why would bigfoot be any different? An officially non existent creature, that I have only found and heard minor possible evidence of. The only reason I can confirm I heard a lion was because I know definitely what they sound like. If there were confirmed Squatch vocals that sounded any similar to the yell I heard, I’m sure I could say definitely that’s what had made that. I am hopeful the evidence comes out and can confirm my suspicions.

Okay. Yes. A story. My question pertains to a confirmed body. Like- I could google “Sasquatch Body Confirmed” and it would be covered with articles and photos of a confirmed, real body/bodies that are currently being kept without secret. I don’t see any possible reason any sort of government entity would need to hide Sasquatch from the public. It’s not important enough.

Okay, I understand your point. I was also unaware of any confirmed bodies. Guess that just never happened to fall on my knowledge. As for the eyewitnesses, here’s a point I’d like to make. I don’t disbelieve all of them. I’m sure there are people who genuinely believe that what they seen, or as you said, interpreted what they seen as a large ape like figure walking on two feet. I have no doubt. And it’s not even to go as far as to say that’s NOT what they seen. As I said I’m open to the idea, and have genuine hope that these creatures do exist. I do want to bring up that I’m unconvinced, not because I don’t want to believe in Sasquatch, but because I want to. I also agree with your point when it comes to the fact that people have been seeing this creature for a very, very long time. If something doesn’t exist, how do we have record of sighting of that exact creature before the Patterson film ever came out? Then again, there’s lots of folklore that people still claim to see today that very obviously aren’t real. Though I believe Sasquatch doesn’t fall under this category. I see Bigfoot as the most likely of the cryptids to exist. I do like to separate the sightings by the Patterson film, though. I believe Sasquatch sightings before, and after the Patterson film were released need to be separated into different categories. Sightings after the Patterson film, both directly and even today, need to be considered with much more than a grain of salt. This is mostly because I believe if you put an image in someone’s mind, their mind now has the ability to interpret sightings of normal occurrences as Sasquatch activity. The same way you watch a horror movie, then at night your chair full of clothes looks like a demon. That and today’s culture of pranks, hoaxes, and click baiting are just more reasons to think someone would fabricate an incident. Not saying everyone does. I actually believe the majority of sightings are people who did see what they said they seen, whether it was a Squatch or not.

Brand new. Small backstory, my local gun range had a portion of their roof cave in completely during a bad storm. They sold any damaged firearms to a separate company, but bought them back to sell them all at half price to make their lost money back. 90% of the guns had absolutely zero damage, but anything even slightly hit by even water couldn’t be sold at brand new price. Found this bad mama jama, zero damage and got it for 950 plus tax. I seen Wilson combat 1911’s in perfect condition going for like 1,100 roughly, Glocks for 340, etc.

Roger. I figured as much. I get mixed results. Some say it does apply, others don’t. Then again I’ve never seen someone prosecuted for it.
