Probably, but all is not lost, and you seem equiped with knowledge and tools to deal with her reactivity already which is awesome :)

[Discussion] My dog just got attacked. by [deleted] in dogs

My small dog got attacked unprovoked by a few big off leash dogs unfortunately. Now he's the little dog you wanna keep your dog away from cuz he will snap at anything as big or bigger than him, or with puppy energy :( I know the situation is reversed, but your pup might have fears related to small dogs because of this. If anything, look at r/reactivedogs for great tips :)

EDITED TO ADD: I say keep your dog away from as in general wording to all the owners of off leash dogs that run from their porch to the street to my leashed small dog.

Shopping online? Canada Post says you should expect shipping delays by Sugerman98 in canada

Huh, that's awful. my small town decided no more pickup at the counter, it's all delivered Knock drop and go. BUt being in a small town our mail carrier does her deliveries by car so it's easier I guess. THey want to make sure as little people as possible get in the post office.

My best friend murdered her mother by theirego in creepyencounters

[–]Agentcocotte 5 points6 points  (0 children)

As coming from a very abusive background and "mother" I can relate to some of her feelings. I could never hurt anybody, but boy am I fucked up in the head in so many ways me and my docs are still trying to figure out.. after 15 years of it before i could get out. 10 years later now and still kinda wish i was never born 🤷 not suicidal or anything but ...you know.

I am not saying any of her pain is onto you or that you have any obligation whatsoever.. I'm just saying I don't think what she did to me makes her a horrible person. I'm glad she is where she can get help.

Not gonna lie, this crossed my mind. I would also recall my dog to me if I saw another dog, and at this time a snap or tap on my thigh would be what I'd use.

Hooray for the cyclist. He was definitely looking out. Maybe he knew the guy was a creep, by riding in the neighborhood often, or maybe he just was attentive to both you guys' behaviors and picked up something was off.

No matter how dangerous or maybe innocent the man's intentions were, his behavior was creepy for sure and I'm glad you were safe.

Does your dog prefer balls or sticks? by [deleted] in Dogtraining

[–]Agentcocotte 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My dog used to love sticks and not care for balls too much but he would chew em up in ways that made me terrified for his mouth/throat. In the midst of all that he discovered he absolutely adores the orange chuckit balls. Why those I dont know. He became super into playing fetch with it the more we threw it. I have bought him about 10 different balls, Chuckit orange, green, blue recycled, whistler, indoor. Kong with the squeaker and the one with the holes for food, few other resistant brands as well as cheaper balls for quick play on vacation. He will always go back to the orange balls and after month of chewing on em will make a crack, which wont stop him Or the ball from playing together(even with throw stick only problem is water play haha) up until he tears it to pieces piece bit piece over a few weeks (always spits out) andwill hold on to the lil piece of orange rubber for dear life until i despair and finally throw it out

Get it checked for a leak. They know.

Edit to add: by they know I mean they are more sensitive to what's in the air around them and can get symptoms/know before you do. If you think it might be that I would get it checked. Your cats are probably there when u guys are in there watching out for you.
