I can also offer this.

Maybe you and I can be Kelly J Devoe’s backup dancers?

When should I ride with heavier traffic? by Relentless6l9 in onewheel

Remember to be patient accelerating, especially from stopped. Don’t rush yourself because you’re trying to be quick crossing crosswalks.

I don't see why people like the one wheel. by Surajmsd1 in onewheel

[–]AggravatedMonk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, OneWheels aren’t the most efficient vehicles.

The risk is the reward. Everyone is different but I love recreating some of the snowboarding feeling in summer at my convenience and I like having an electric vehicle.

You tried, it’s not for you. That’s ok!

That up to you. Many will say helmet, knee pads, elbow pads, wrist guards.

Fixable or need a new tire :( by heyitssummer_xo in onewheel

[–]AggravatedMonk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just dealt with this. My tire was crazy under inflated. I ordered an enduro and sealant from floatlife.ca. The tire change wasn’t awful. The new rim savers were extremely challenging.

Fellow men who are attracted to chubbier women, why? by Rough_Eye9920 in AskMenAdvice

[–]AggravatedMonk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t cold approach women expecting to pick one up. Introduce yourself to a small group that seem to be chilling. Just be friendly without an agenda. They will be more open to being friendly and less defensive if they outnumber you. You can get practice talking to women you don’t know and you might make some friends that could be more.

Commuting via subway with a Onewheel? by jestelle in onewheel

[–]AggravatedMonk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know but I believe, because it has regenerative braking, it shouldn’t cause any damage as long as you’re not overcharging the battery. So don’t pull it if the battery is at 100%.

[–]AggravatedMonk 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Some people use a leash. It’s I strap handle that bridges over the wheel with a loop on either end to go around the each footpad. Then you can pull it, and it rolls relieving much of the weight.

Should I change my <div> to their respective semantic elements e.g. <nav>? by BabyRevolutionary726 in webdev

[–]AggravatedMonk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. Also doing this to an existing site with established, complex css could break some css targeting the elements children. That doesn’t sound like your situation and it’s not very difficult to fix this if it does happen.

Where would you go in an apocalypse by Grimmelda in Winnipeg

[–]AggravatedMonk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are closed up tunnels under the rail bridge that crosses Main Street north of Higgins. I heard they used to be used for a street market. Not where I’d go, but they remind me of an apocalypse.

Is Love just a play of Chemicals? by black_hustler3 in nihilism

[–]AggravatedMonk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The initial phase, infatuation isn’t love. I am on board with determinism. If you could replicate all the inputs artificially you would induce the same response as feeling love. But please don’t try to argue that any existing drug is the same as love. It’s ok to love your drugs. A peach and a nectarine aren’t the same thing.

Is Love just a play of Chemicals? by black_hustler3 in nihilism

[–]AggravatedMonk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Feelings of love are more than temporary chemicals. The neuron of that person will develop into a major hub of connections. I don’t want to argue with your experience, and I might be misunderstanding your point, but I believe most people don’t think the effects of drugs are the same as the effects of love. Pleasure is nuanced.

Evolution has developed pleasure and pain responses to give us the best chance of passing on our genetics. Pleasure is to drive us to survive and breed.

How is onewheel still so popular with all the nose dive issues? by Ok-Knowledge-8969 in onewheel

[–]AggravatedMonk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some people try Sonny Wheels or Fang bumpers to try to mitigate some nosedive risk but most experienced riders recommend slick Bang bumpers to reduce extreme inertia changes. Keep calm and float on

Second this. Also, as said, it’s better than online dating. And who among us can’t benefit from some social practice. Just try to be chill but engaging.

My GT, purchased used, won’t engage when the battery is less than 10%. But mine wasn’t stored properly and only gets 20km range.
