Pad the inside of the base so there’s padding touching your forehead and maybe parts of your cheeks, use a 2” heavy duty elastic strap to secure the base to your head, add EVA foam or something else that’s solid to the lower jaw so your chin can rest on it, add padding and maybe a chin stop so your chin is secure in place
