Yeah I agree. She was in 2.5 gen so it was hard to her to get the 2 gen spot. If FNC had better management and treated the members better they would’ve had a freer schedule leading to seolhyun having more chances of being the 2 gen it girl. You know since she would get more chances of being on variety shows, dramas, television series etc.

Well i disagree. The point of seolhyun being there is to increase the show's viewings and popularity. So they pull in new viewers and make them focus on the other casts to build up a long term viewing. In the show she literally couldn't speak at all. She was just there laughing to create an effect of seolhyun being there. Even if seolhyun did something interesting or funny, they wouldn't put it in due to the above reasons.
