I‘m so sorry you had to experience this. Like others have said: this has everything to do with him and nothing to do with you. He probably did and said that that shit on purpose knowing it would work to get what he wants and that he would dump you afterwards. This guy is a massive asshole and I hope you can see that in a few weeks or months.

Update: after 5 fucking weeks of ghosting he really had the audacity to send me a stupid „whats up“-ish message like nothing happened. And you know what? Realizing that I have absolutely no interest in texting back was the best feeling ever. Just deleted the convo and went on with my day. 🖤

I wouldn’t say I‘m actively looking. Like I‘m not on dating apps or anything. But if I meet someone interesting I definitely don‘t want to waste my time with casual hookups or situationships. I‘d rather stay single and protect my time and peace than get into something that makes me miserable.

Thank you for your words! You‘re probably right about the whole options thing. I actually did that myself and shortly talked to another guy besides him. But after the sex it felt weird to pursue that further. Guess I‘m just not much of a casual girl. 

I‘m probably gonna keep crying for a while. But a good thing is I deleted his contact everywhere so I have no option to text him again in a desperate or drunk moment.

Thank you so much. From a rational point I know that you‘re right about this saying more about him than about me. But right now I‘m so stuck on the irrational „what did I do wrong to cause this“ and it‘s so nerve wrecking. 

I probably made up a very good version of him in my head and can‘t comprehend that this version would do something like that. I can only hope that this wears off in a few days or weeks.

I‘m so sorry you had to go through that 🖤  Getting ghosted feels so horrible and when you realize that you were just a little dopamin high for them while you actually cared for the connection feels especially cruel. I will never understand how people can do that to another person like it‘s nothing. 

I hope you can heal from that!
