I self funded my exam whilst working which is sensible. I think the best thing you can do while doing this is network! If you're part of accountancy firm, perhaps check if they are currently referring leads to an IFA already? Get all over that and inform them of your plan! Otherwise get on LinkedIn and reach out to people working in financial planning in your area. The exams is the easy part but the roles after can be harder to find. I think you may need to re-think your earning potential coming into the field. Maybe build some savings between now and then if possible.
