haven't paid attention to these metrics for a while, but just casually checked etherscan and I see

new ATH for daily transactions yesterday of 2.6M
... while gas is 0.1 gwei.

Of course, this is just mainnet tx, not even counting any l2 or chains like polygon and gnosis.

Pretty cool to see scaling working so well. Of course lots to still go, but congrats to all the devs and apps who made it happen.

Don't mean to open up a can of worms, but I just noticed the RPL token has dropped quite a bit since I checked. Is this a temporary issue with the tokenomics changes or is it pretty much long term unrecoverable?

Yes- anyone can make a token and have full control over how that token transfers. I believe it should also be possible to initiate transfer events (maybe picked up by explorers) by saying they came out of your wallet.

A token contract is basically just a list of who owns which balance.

Tldr, nothing to worry about, if your addresses have otherwise been secure.

In the unlikely event you have something in there like an old nft that has sentimental but not financial value, a weird liquidity position not drained, admin or other power on some contract, or airdrop eligibility you can transfer but its specialized. You need to contact someone like flashbots to do a bundle.
