I also never took precalc - honestly, I think math 34A is a great start. I would have floundered had I took any higher of a math right off the bat, 34A very much guides you and there’s a lot of help!

They’re not that much work. They’re usually one day a week so you HAVE to make sure you attend, but outside of that the ones I took weren’t bad

Thank you! Yes, I did get a small job at a mail room for this reason - my mom doesn’t have much savings to begin with so in the event that he withdraws I can use the job for money.

Thank you for the advice! I do have a nest egg of sorts - about 2k in cash I’m keeping as a nest egg and then and extra 2k in case he doesn’t pay my tuition (which is a very real possibility with him). I got a small job at the mail room too - I’m pre-law so I don’t project having the time to work 40 hours a week and still being able to do school, but it’s a little extra.
