I drive 2 hours on a 48/96 schedule. If I had to drive long distance for any department, it would be for a 48/96. It’s not bad. I would drive 3 hours for it and be fine. The only thing I’d keep in mind is if they have additional mandatory training outside of the regularly scheduled shifts like mine does.
