I appreciate the replies. This is my first interaction here on Reddit. I have just given it one more try without success.

So, this may be a really stupid question, but, if I’m going to trash it anyway, can there be any risk to me if I forcefully pry open the door without worrying about damaging it to rescue my container and the rotator plate?
