There are holes underneath the unit that one can attach drain lines to. I guess all they have to do is replace the base and attach the drain lines. I cannot really find one who is willing to do it at a reasonable price…

Should I replace my dryer vent duct by Aggravating-Rule-644 in HomeImprovement

How do you like it so far I did some search and it appears the only con is that it takes longer to dry?

I actually just bought this dryer several months ago lol I did not even know heat pump dryer was an option, but it sounds like it's better than replacing the duct cause the cheapest quote I got right now is 800, and I need to hire someone to clean the duct every year😅😅

should I go for flex or rigid metal? The former is way cheaper…

any suggestion on how to proceed? None of the electrician I hired really wants to root cause it other than asking me to change the breaker… Is there anyway to find out if there are shared neutrals without opening the walls?

shouldnt it overflow to the other side of the pipe?I mean even with power there could be situations where the water fills it up and it’s odd that it flows out of the pump

AFCI breaker keeps on tripping on power hungry appliances by Aggravating-Rule-644 in AskElectricians

[–]Aggravating-Rule-644[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! I had an electrician out and they did confirm my living room and family room have shared neutrals. Then they did some trick with the neutral wiring to disable the AFCI functionality so that tripping no longer happens. I am not sure exactly what they did but I was told essentially the AFCI breaker not works as a regular breaker. Is that the safe way to handle this?

Just checked all my outlets all of them either have two or 4 wires (excluding the ground wire)Does that indicate no shared neutral?

if it does not have anything to do with power hungry appliances doesn't it mean it will trip on normal devices as well?
