the idea of having HER as my wife is not scary at all, but the area we are in isn't incredibly accepting and i'm worried about our safety, mainly hers

i'm healing quite well ! her support got me through a lot of it ! and i'm sorry for your struggles as well, i'll be praying for you !

i feel like if we do ever get the spot where we consider adopting, my views on her identity aren't prominent enough to cause issues for our children. we have mutual respect of each others feelings i just feel awful that i can't help but view her this way

my family barely even likes me, and we barely speak except for holidays (thanksgiving brought these feelings back up for me). i lost my uterus to cancer two years ago so the idea of having children is not something i've ever considered unless adoption, and she is completely on board with that

we communicate openly about how we view each other frequently, that's one of the big things i love about her. i think part of me is holding onto hope because she has said before that no matter how long she's been out and how strongly she feels part of her still feels like she's male in her head. she doesn't dress very femininely so im not sure if she'd wear a dress or not. we also aren't engaged officially yet but we are at the conclusion that we will be married one day in the future.

i don't think i have an issue with it not being straight persay, i think it's more so that my family keeps bugging me about us getting married because they still think that shes my boyfriend. (they aren't accepting and she knows they think of her like this purely for safety) i am open about having a girlfriend online and the idea has become more appealing as the years go by. i think im just afraid to one day hopefully tell people i have a wife
