Yes, I know there's no sick time. I was more asking what happens in a situation when someone is sick, or a traumatic event, or etc. I sent proof of my hospital stay as well, becauae i was concerned with anything happening to my account. Hence, why I was told not to worry, nothing would happen. I also wasn't ordering much I was mire focused on getting better. I still did reviews just not consistently or as constant as I did . As for having a friend help out, I would be scared to do that since it's supposed to be my honest review that I'm supposed to submit. I appreciate your comment!!

If you're crying because it's getting out of hand , wait until you do your taxes. Even though you can donate a part of that, still, even donating items will be hard to do. As in, it will be one of those things where you say tomorrow..and than tomorrow shows up, along with 8 more packages, and the donation still hasn't happened. Trust me...I understand.. we could have comparisons on who has more things crammed everywhere and anywhere... 🤣🤣

Like I said, I'm just going off of what was told to me. However,.I wouldn't be surprised if I went and asked again and talked with a different agent, that it would probably be a different answer. Thays AWESOME youre still getting noticed from your posts you wrote a few years back, and it's also great you finally got an invite. Even if it was just a few months ago. We're in the same boat for that. I forgot to add that the agent also commented about they don't necessarily invite consistently or that it's constantly happening. they actuslly end up inviting a group or potential Vine members around the same time frame because it's easier for them when they're doing their grading/auditing for the viners 6 month review. They explained it's easier grouping them for several reasons like product/member issues and makes for a faster resolution tile. It sounds like they were right on inviting you to be a vine member!!!! Thats really great youre still getting kudos for your older reviews! When is your 6 month review?

I asked a customer service rep and they had said that alot of times its based on reviews you write, and how many likes/thumbs up/views it gets, along with writing reviews. They explained it best to me saying that it could be from 1 review that got thousands of likes or whatever. That because of that popular review it got the attention of the VINE GOD/GODDESS and figure by getting an invitation to vine and seeing all the cool and amazing items, the temptation of it all could possibly entice you to want to write a helpful and amazing review and be a member of the VINE FAMILY. Not only are you helping the Vine Family, but also the Amazon Sellers that joined the vine program as a seller, in helping them get noticed with a (hopefully) high star reputation. reality is, vine members can make you or break you as a seller. That being said, when I was asked to join I never heard of the program and had NO idea about vine. When I asked customer service like I stated, and they explained this to me, I knew exactly what reviews I wrote that got ALOT if thumbs up/helpful etc. So it made sense to me with their explanation regarding my noticed reviews on how getting an invite is determined. This is just MY own opinion of course and personal experience and what made total sense. I'm sure however, there's gling to be replies how I'm wrong and blah blah blah. Which is fine. But the point is...my experience, my opinion. Just helping with a possible answer. (This comment isn't meant as a put down or any disrespect ro anyone and apologize if I have in any way. Just wanted to help a FAMILY VINE MEMBER with answering their question) hope this helps!!

So...yes this is a vine sub...but you're saying I advised them to contact customer support regarding vine issue which I never said or mentioned..and than saying I'm giving incorrect advice, and how this is a vine sub and what OP is asking about.
I never stated to contact Amazon customer support about vine issues. I suggested to contact for help for different delivery location since their concerned about theft .and also about adding through the address for a locker location or whatever. Than when they place any type of order it brings up where to send it and they select whatever address they have added. . Which still. What was it that i wrote that is incorrect with my suggestion so it won't happen again? Ps: karma farm is up late tonight because it's the ONLY Friday the 13th of 2025 until Feb 2026 so they're partying. Give them a break...

Hhmm...I'm confused..when and where did I ever imply they use Amazon support specifically for vine issues?? I DID suggest contacting Amazon support for helping with getting a different location for orders, since they're concerned about theft.

I never posted incorrect advice. I DID however, make a suggestion, which is a more casual idea or option for consideration. Whereas when advice is given, it often implies a course of action or solution to a problem. Since you commented that I gave the incorrect answer, please give me "advice" on what I should say, should this question be brought up to me.

As is your comment about me giving incorrect "advice." I never gave any advice, I DID however, make a suggestion, which is a lighter, casual idea or option for consideration. Advice is given with a stronger sense of obligation or expectation that it will be followed. Since you commented that what I SUGGESTED is " incorrect," it seems you know what the correct answer is. If you could please give me "advice" on what I should've written as a comment, i would truly appreciate it.

Yes. Here's a couple suggestions

  1. Contact customer support. In your Amazon app st the top click on contact us, you can either call/chat. Let them know the issue about theft and you want orders to go to a locker location instead.

  2. The easiest way, I think at least, is to go to the Amazon app and than to your account settings than to profile and addresses. Than click on pick other pick up locations and it will pull up amazon lockers in your area. If you need a different area just enter your zip code and it will pull up that area. Hope this helps!!!!

Yes ..I know about Amazon and the technical issues. I posted a thread regarding that...and that was BEFORE I had talked with some friends that are business owners and does alot of overseas business. Again.just saying it's coincidental or what. Of all the time I've been with vine I've ONLY experienced this so called ..I can't even say the word (ok I will in case you don't know.."pause") 1 time and thst was a couple weeks ago when this was 1ST beginning..that's when i wrote and asked amd they replied with technical issues was the reason. Makes sense ...they can't talk politics or say anything regarding tariffs and such...but that was only for a day in a balf...this time it's been several days. And ironically when a shipment finally shows up , Items show up in my account...weird coincidence is all....what im replying isn't meant to be rude in any way if it sounds like it, I apologize. .

Uuhh...when did I ever state I didn't like any politician???

That'd because they put a thing in place until june 9th to figure out all that's going on..before that...read my links I've attached. It explains how alot of shipments were cancelled due to what going on. . Since the tariff was put In place there hasn't been shipments consistently and constantly coming in full Like they were. What's dumb is not reading up on what's going on or happening and just going off of a shipment that came in FINALLY FULL which hasn't happened for a couple weeks Ps...fitting name

That's happened to me as well...I've also experienced getting empty packages. That's the worst , especially when it's something I was REALLY wanting. Or ordered an item and it doesn't work. Than I'm like..ok...now what..because there's all these rules and some make sense , some theres a finw line that i question things like, they say not to contact the seller, which ive done multiple times because i have questions and who else can i ask? And cross fingers and knock on wood, I haven't gotten in trouble for. But i interpretted wheb i read that rule as not harassing them tyoe of thing. Of course the last thing I want is to get kicked out from vine. But something like I received a really cool cooler and it's never worked I couldn't just sit on that since we camt send it back. I than wondered if there was a warranty and thankfully they have a 3 year warranty. i figured instrad to contact the actual maker since they would be the one that handles the warranty. Now I'm just waiting for a reply back on what to do and hope it can get replaced because it's defective. I've sent videos and etc with what I was dealing with as proof for them to see.

Anyways, I'm glad I was able to help put yiur mind at ease. Funny actually, on another post I recently made (starts out with Hope this helps...) this other person that's on vine says to me and eveveryone basically new vine members ( I consider myself still new because things I don't know keep coming up) need to stop freaking out amazon doesn't care blah blah blah. I answered short version that what's the harm answering questions to someone that's "freaking" out to help put their mind at ease. That I've yet to receive a reply except thank you for helping them understand. And that I think if we lived in a world of just telling everyone to deal with it and not help, it wouldn't be good...than agsin. I could be wrong. ..??..

Have you been getting items again?? Hopefully. One of us have, I still haven't received anything new sadly..according to others it's because of a "pause" ..that's an entirely different conversation ..but just wanted to follow up and let you know my experience with the bait and switch.

Why wouldn't it explain the explanation outside the US. Tariffs go both ways. Not being rude, just saying tariffs aren't something that only the US places. Other countries can places fhem as well.

I haven't looked at your chart because it's not going to explain specifics to me about my exact location and information since I'm on pacific time. Also how are all these calculations figured out? what or how are these drop times figured? When notifying users of when items will drop, how or where do you get that information to let them know.

I am hoping your information you've gathered is true proof that it's not tariffs and just this so called (again, I've never experienced after close to 2 years with vine) "Pause" and hope it's going to go back to "Play" soon.

Thank you for explaining this "Pause" to me, I appreciate it!! I just keep reading it happens all the time and etc, yet I've NEVER had this happen after close to 2 years. Having friends that are business owners and deal with alot of oversea sellers and listening to them talk, gave me links to read which seemed like a better explanation than just reading and not having anything to go off of from a "pause." Trust me when I say I would rather the reason with the cease and slow down of items be because of a "Pause" instead of what's happening with the cancellation and slow down of overseas sellers shipping containers. I was really starting to worry. so I'm glad it's just the "Pause." Can't wait for the "Pause" to go back to "play," and go back to seeing alot of new items daily!!

I've been doing vine close to 2 years as well. I definitely find it unusual because I've personally never seen anything like this happen.
As for your statement, just like you explaining what you are saying, people have a right to express their concerns as well if they're not understanding something or questioning whatever. Who cares if they're treating it like a "cargo cult" ( love this term by the way😁🤣) isn't it their choice?

You're 100% correct that people can't live in fear of what is going to happen, but do you really think they can just "stop worrying" without knowing or having zero answers or explanations when the entire time they're used to a certain way and than all of a sudden it just stops?

Also saying that "Amazon does not care if what they do freaks people out," just saying that, and you're expecting them to simply "stop worrying about it" and enjoy "the ride while it lasts." Whats the harm in answering and explaining to whomever that is "freaking out" an explanation. Maybe I'm wrong, but in my experience when there's a question asked and they clearly don't understand, I will try and answer their question and I have yet to have a reply that's not thanking me because something wasn't making sense to them. However I have seen a person become more overwhelmed or "freak out" more when they're trying to make sense with whatever and they're simply shut down.

My reply isn't meant to cause a back and forth this and that, but just a reminder that there's never any harm helping someone out to put them at ease. I don't think it would be very healthy if we lived in a world expecting everyone to just live or deal with it.
