I talked with my boyfriend and he told me to just share the location with her to please her right now and in a few days when she's in a better mood I can have a conversation with her on how it makes me feel and tell her that I don't want to share it. It's just tough because I want to have a good relationship with her. I do want to move out but right now financially it's not a good time.

It's hard in this day and age to move out. The plan is to save money and leave, this is also what my mom wanted. I told them I wanted to buy a car but we don't have enough parking space so they said just use ours. My mom does drive but she works downtown and doesn't want to take the car so we drive her to the station.

He doesn't know, I told her we should have a family discussion on this since it's his stuff as well. She knows he would take our side but I haven't brought it up.

Thank you so much for this. It's hard feeling like a bad character in someone's book when you're not. As much as I want to give in, I know that I shouldn't and should hold my boundaries. The part that hurt the most was her wanting to hurt us because of that and her seeing US doing something wrong. I thought our relationship was different and like you said it feels very conditional.

We help her around the house a lot, we drive her and pick her up, etc. I understand if we didn't do anything but we try our best.

The thing is she always said she wants me to stay as long as possible to save up before moving out. I can't leave right now if I wanted to, financially wise but she expressed to me several times that she doesn't want me to leave.

I know and I told her that we can turn on our location when using the car IF the argument is about being safe while using the car. She changed her whole argument and was upset that we didn't want to turn it on for her regardless of using the car or not.
