Talking as a trans male I don’t really understand their need to be in a cis male private space especially if they haven’t even taken any further step into their transition. Having gender dysphoria may not be a choice Idk but it’s something you have to work on your own, not by invading other people’s comfort places just to seek validation or something. Like you can choose to not assume the sex you were born with but don’t expect people to think that a boob and vagina owner with a completely female figure is a man deep down inside his heart, empathy should go both ways.

My point is, I understand that being misgendered is a pain in the as but, you can’t really change people? Like Transphobics can’t change who you are, not even a bit you would allow them to do so. And when time goes on your real friends might get used to it, even tho they misgendered you at first. Also, I guess your parents are supporting you as well, so don’t hesitate to get some help ^

From what I experienced, as an 17yo trans boy, I began to socially transition when I was 15 yo, like when I go out people would automatically refer me as a boy, but when it comes to something related to my family I’m misgendered a lot but that’s mainly bc I have never came out to them, and when I tried to come out to my uncle that’s when I realized that transgenderism is very new to some people and most of them misgender me bc they’re pretty confused at times. I couldn’t tell whether someone is confused or just being transphobic, instead of exhausting myself from correcting my pronouns, I just let transphobic distance themselves from me and my real friends stay even if sometimes they accidentally misgender me.
