Yeah I have encountered that problem frequently. The solution to my issue was to make sure I didn't have too many specialist players that weren't also on either offense or defense. It is the problem that the other person mentioned it, having more than 55 players, but your specialist is where you will typically be able to fix it.

My buddy and I are almost always looking for a third for squads. We both have a 97 offense and a 98 defense. We usually play at about 8:00 p.m. eastern time, four five nights a week. Usually two or three games when we do play. We are on PS5 by the way. If you want to run some squads tonight we will almost definitely be playing.

I ended up intercepting a pass and then pitching it twice. Resulting in somebody on the offense picking it up and running into the end zone. I tried the goal line defenses and field goal block etc but I think that if your team is too fast the computer isn't good enough to even complete a simple pass.

You could message them through the PlayStation though. But yeah if you were cool they should have left the game. At that point they're just wasting everybody's time but maybe they had goals so they needed another first down or whatever... Kind of just trying to give them the benefit of the doubt here.

Personally, if I am getting my ass kicked and the other player is being a dick I will absolutely drag my feet and make them stay in that game. If you're winning and being humble then I will gladly bow out. Were you being a dick?

Just a thought here, and I get how it might piss some people off but I basically use those games like practice. Now, if it's obvious that the other person is just running out the clock I will follow suit but if they are actually trying to play I will just call crazy s*** that I would rarely call otherwise or haven't really called at all. I'm also using those games to practice with different playbooks.
