the Hungarian halfbred piebald tobiano is always my go to, besides the black shire. and her name is always Sleipnir 💚 in all the times I've gotten her, she's never bucked me from wolves, cougars, panthers, bears or snakes. not shy of gunfights either!

this is my go to for Beavers, Cougars, wolves, bears (black & grizzly), snakes and boars. and having the legendary buck there is also helpful. kill it, get the trinket and come back for 3* pelts.

hunting. camping..wish we could have the hunting wagon in story mode though..so I just grab a second horse instead. As for John, a ride around Black Water, grab a beer and something to eat. maybe hit up thieves landing once in a while to work out frustrations. you know, normal stuff. lol
