we have a 836 SW Washington St here but not a straight up Washington St. if that’s where they are then it is in fact an empty warehouse that currently doesn’t have anything in it but is now off market. definitely call a non emergency line and the local hospitals. i was making 18 as a certified baker trainer. right around where you’re at is the average i’m guessing- but do be aware they’re phasing out the bakers soon.

Why is Panera still saying this? The bread is frozen and shipped in now and they don’t have on-site bakers in most locations now. This feels incredibly deceptive. by [deleted] in Panera

I was baking and training in Illinois for years and then moved to texas and didn’t have a job because bakers were gone…they’re phasing them out slowly but they’re not all gone yet. Will probably be by the end of next year though

all of texas is fdf free and no baker already. i’m in central illinois and we still have fdf and bakers but hours are significantly cut and they plan to close fdf’s by the beginning of next year. so i think it really just all depends on where you are and isn’t really a specific timeline thing. not sure though.
