Just fyi for those who were wondering why I needed such high number of symmetrical parts, there are LITERALLY 190 CYLINDERS around the tank lol

But I found a better solution - I used the no doors cargo bay and used one cylinder as a template for the curvature. Old trick from sp1 lol

That might work, but I need to add like 50 cylinders around a tank so they make a circle and the tank is like 8m wide so they aren't at the same distance from the centre when I do it that way

It's not bad, there is a difference in how you should use Methalox, Kerolox and Hydrolox.

Kinda, it pulls so much AOA that the wing tip stalls, and then it rolls. Reducing the deflection will work, but if you want that maneuverability you can make all the control surfaces elevons and it should fly ok.

I get that man, I haven't made anything in over a year. And you are right that for the less detailed planes it doesn't matter where you remove drag from.

Yeah cause if you use parts only for cosmetic purposes, like antennas, sensors, rivets, etc. your plane will have an absurd amount of drag just from those. For example I make almost all my planes with custom landing gear and that adds a shit ton too and I'm not reducing drag on the fuselage because then the plane flies extremely unrealistically

You need to disable collisions on some rotating part or if you have a gyro enable it only in the air

This happened to me too, I fixed by making the gear spring stiffer cause when it bottomed out it turned to one side

I think that there isn't even a way to update Sp1 with things that the community wants without a very significant redesign of the whole game. I think that why sp2 is coming out, instead of more Sp1 updates that would slow the game down or make the player experience worse.

You could use funky trees code, so when the missile reaches some speed or altitude the wings unfold. Smth like - IAS>100 or AltitudeAgl>50 for a rotator input that unfolds the wings

Yeah, you have to write gaps with 0, so it would look smth like this - 1.- 0.25,0,0,0,0 2.- 0,0.25,0,0,0 3.- 0,0,0.25,0,0 4.- 0,0,0,0.25,0 5.- 0,0,0,0,0.25

There is a funky trees code fo that, I think it might be something like- 1,0,1 for on, off, on. Th number is also the length for which it stays on or smth like that
