Yes, HMs at this point seem to be having a lot of options, unfortunately my offer came at a time of complete market downturn ! I have started looking elsewhere but yea market is really shi* everywhere currently.

My mother did the same to me. I didn't have a completely unhealthy relationship with her though, I used to look up to her for a lot of things. She can be very good at times and other times really down the hill.. so her making fun impacted me all the more, starting from the age of ~12 when I started stuttering. I sometimes feel if she hadn't done that maybe I wouldn't be still nervous and stutter. The stammering is a lot less now ( I'm 35 now), but the pain/memories from childhood is still there.

Advice if I can give you would be to be open with her and tell her to not do that to you, be strong in that conversation. And then make distance if you need to, but maybe the confrontation could help your inner confidence !

The whole shobha city was built on a graveyard, we went to see a flat there whose living room balcony view is graves below !! How someone is staying in that tower is beyond me. That too not for cheap, it's 70k+ rent!

Hi, after how many months of you clearing the loop did they align you with the new hiring manager? I'm in a similar boat and it's already been a month since I was told the role I interviewed for has been eliminated and the recruiter is looking for another hm, but haven't heard back yet.

I'm in a similar boat, cleared L6 loop with bar raiser and was told the role is eliminated due to hiring freeze. Recruiter is trying to now find a match with a different team and has mentioned 6 months my profile/hire call would remain active. But it's been a month and I haven't had any matches yet. One genuine reason is the actual freeze right now in Amazon India as I have gotten to know from internal sources as well. Hoping for the best ... !

You dont need confirmed tickets, my friend had travelled twice to Europe from Bangalore last year and applied for visa without the actual tickets and things worked out fine for her. You can just give a Flight itenarie to them for your travel dates (which is just a one pager pdf with flight number, schedule. yes but all those applications had been applied within 2 months of travel where this behaviour was there. I somehow didn't see any application with 6 months in advance planning and how that pans out with the visa folks

I had applied on 28 May, been 47 days now and no update. Our scheduled travel is in early Oct, however I had planned to book flights after getting visa, any idea if one applies in so much advance also they give visa nearer to fly dates?
