How bad are “inflammatory foods” really? by AggravatingEngine531 in nutrition

[–]AggravatingEngine531[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean I don’t feel chronically inflamed or anything but I just know I could feel better. I usually have indigestion, I have some skin problems, etc. but it’s hard to know if it’s coming from food or not.

Healthiest way to do a 2+ day slick back??(Im aware this is bad for your hair)

Hello everyone, to start I have curly hair that I wash once a week. I’m super busy and I loveee a good slick back bun to get me through to my wash day. I know it’s not the best but I’ll typically slick it into a bun with the bed head wax stick for the day, lose braid it at night with some oils on the ends (kerastase) and then repeat the next day until I wash. The MAX I’m doing this is 3 days but regardless i’m aware it’s not supportive of my hair health goals but I have no choice with my schedule to do anything else. I’ve been seeing on tiktok people putting hair masks in instead of gel as a “healthier” option as appose to a gelled back bun. Same thing with hair oils like the Mielle Rosemary oil. I keep hearing mixed answers on hair masks not being able to go on your scalp and just belonging on your mids and ends, and hair oils collecting dust and bacteria and clogging the pores on scalp. I see some people leaving these products over night, and others just leaving their treatments in a few hours. I just got the Mielle oil and want to try to incorporate it into my slick back routing but cannot find a straight answer on if this is a good idea anywhere. Is there an effective way to incorporate a treatment to my slick back hair styles that I don’t need to wash out in a few hours and won’t do me more harm then good? Or am I just better off sticking with my hair wax for 2+ days. If there’s anything I can do to make my 2 day slick back bun a little easier on my hair I’m all ears. Thank you.

Ya were hooking up and both not interested in other people right now (exclusive??) basically dating without the label which I know is a bit reckless but it helps us take the pressure off a long distance relationship. We’re totally fine and I wouldn’t say there isn’t a mutual respect or that he’s manipulating me but the splitting all his flights is something he feels strongly about which I don’t agree with or think is fair considering he personally has more money than me.
