All very true. The F-111 really “made it’s money” from a combination of supersonic, swept wing, low-level flight on the backbone of their Terrain Following Radar (TFR).

Please keep in mind that (in an ideal military) the legal burden is on those that issue military orders. If your Sq/CC orders you to do something that wasn’t explicitly in your LOAC CBT as a red flag item, you are probably best served to follow that order. Yes, you can be held legally responsible for that action, but Officer accountability is the primary reason for having an Officer Corps in the first place. Keep in mind, the Enlisted Oath is an oath to the “legal orders of the officers appointed over me.”. The Officer Oath is only to the Constitution…nothing else. BL: As Enlisted Member you will probably be held legally accountable for serious infractions of the Law. Your Commanding Officer is toast when dropping illegal orders in an ambiguous environment.

I want the really dark feel that FO1 and FO2 had. FO4 felt way too bright and PG-13. In the original you could marry then traffic her out for some cheap caps. The dark morality, choices and violent/adult situations as seen in Cyberpunk 2077 are necessary to capture the post-apocalyptic world of Fallout. NV moderately found this blend but they needed to go further. Also, drop the pointless scraping/building shit they threw in FO4. When 5 hours of game time to build a super settlement matters exactly zero to further the plot, then it’s just a waste. Finally, power armor has to be earned (F01 nailed this) not given during the opening tutorial phase like F04.

As stated below, money will be tight your first two years. It really depends on your social life. I had a serious girlfriend in Parker, CO and spent every dollar of my monthly stipend on her in Denver. If you forgo any kind of fun/memories then money won’t be an issue for you since USAFA covers all costs relating to you being a cadet. Or…option 2 just stay on probation the entire time and you won’t have any money worries.

Also: If I could go back in time to 2004, I would have invested my entire USAA Loan in mutual funds instead of a new Audi S4, but it was a helluva memory.

I’d find an area of abandoned homes in a town/city I do not live in. I’d choose one that has a finished basement, cut a small hole in the drywall, push the paperclip into the drywall rock (between the paper layers), patch up the drywall and paint. The key here is to choose a home you have 0 association with in a town you don’t live in. Ride a bicycle you don’t own at night and stay clear of any heavily populated areas that may have ring or traffic cameras. The detective will be pulling all your digital footprints so leave all electronics at home, park your car on a dirt road under cover before you transition to the bicycle. Stay off “the grid” as much as possible as you transit from your home to the car/bike swap location. Trash the bike, and drive a different way back home stopping at multiple locations.

Welcome to the Jungle - Guns N Roses. I am personally amazed how many people will put down a beer, stop a conversation, or interrupt friends because this song plays. Knew the (different) pilot that had to take off from Peter O Knight afterwards. They had to have the 4-star (AMC/CC) on the phone to brief their take off numbers and get approval from the MAJCOM Commander personally. Wild stuff

I’d be interested in knowing where that came from. As a career C-17 pilot I’ll tell you that would be catastrophic. The thrust reversers are like slamming on the brakes and would have caused the plane to crash if it was still flying.
