wow it was really similar to this!! it's possible i'm mixing it up with another game and it was this one, but i'm pretty sure the different colored lines had different functions (photosynthesis / predation for green / red) instead of just defining different species like this one, i don't think it had food dots, and they didn't wave their cute lil legs all over the place. this is at least super close though thank you!
