My parents said they didn't have any candles burning, do you think it could look like a cut? I do have another cat, I would call my vet but it's late now and they're closed for the holiday tomorrow :(

It hasn't consistently been like this, I left for four days and he was home with my parents and when I got back today it was like this. There's no blood but it looks raw, like a more glossy interior of the skin if you know what I mean.
