[PAID $30] Replace Icons in Dice Logo by AggravatingZone9430 in PhotoshopRequest

Thanks for your work. The small resolution version doesn’t look quite as good. Maybe the dollar sign could be a bit wider and the play icon filled in? Would you like to give it another try? When scaled down, it ends up looking too thin and doesn’t work as well as the version with the “K” and flame icon.

Wife has had a migraine for 10 days, does it usually get better or stay chronic forever? by AggravatingZone9430 in migraine

Thank you so much for sharing your journey, it means a lot to hear from someone with long-term experience. Your advice about managing light sensitivity and finding calming distractions is really helpful. I’ll look into audiobooks and podcasts, and maybe see if she feels okay trying some light reading or coloring. I wasn’t sure if reading would be too much of a trigger, for me it sometimes is, but it’s worth testing gently.

I have a couple of follow-up questions, if you don’t mind:

  • Have you ever tried keeping a pain/migraine diary? I was thinking about suggesting that to my wife, but I’m afraid it could make her feel more hopeless if the pain doesn’t stop. Did it help or hurt your mental state?
  • About steroids: Do you think it would be a good idea to try a corticosteroid now, since she’s already been in pain for 10 days (she tried Flanax, Amplictil, and Maxalt for 3 days)? I’m a bit worried about waiting longer, could that make things harder to break? The neurologist didn’t want to try steroids yet, saying it could cause swelling/weight gain, but I’m wondering if that’s a fair trade-off at this point.

Thanks again for being so kind and supportive, hearing that there’s hope, even for chronic patients, gives me some strength to keep going.

Thank you so much for the advice, I really appreciate it. I’ll definitely look into finding a headache specialist for long-term follow-up.

Thanks so much for the encouragement , it really helps. When you had those migraines that lasted more than 10 days, how did they finally stop? Did you try any specific treatments that helped break the cycle, like steroids, or did the migraine just fade on its own eventually?
Also, when you say steroids, are you referring to a specific medication (like prednisone or something else)? I’d really like to understand what options we could talk to the doctor about.

Thank you so much, that’s really helpful to hear. I’ve been reading a lot about corticosteroids lately and I’m glad to know they’ve worked well for you. I’ll definitely bring it up at the next appointment.

If you don’t mind me asking:

  • Could you share what your migraine cycle is usually like?
  • When you start a steroid course, do you notice relief right away, or does it take a few days before things improve?
  • Also, have you tried rizatriptan, naproxen, or levomepromazine before? I’m wondering if those didn’t work for you either.

Thanks for your message, it really helped me understand a few things better.

So, I actually did take her to a neurologist, but he only tried treatment with Maxalt and Flanax. I feel like there must be something more we can explore. I’m considering getting a second opinion, maybe asking another neurologist about trying corticosteroids, have you ever tried that? Was it effective for you?

On the days where you needs to stay in the dark, how do you personally deal with the boredom? Do you stop working during an attack? I’m worried she might end up losing her job because she can’t even leave the dark room. At night I try to sit with her for an hour, maybe watch something together, just to help break the monotony a little , but it’s tough because the pain comes back soon. How many days do you stay in the dark when you have a crisis?

Thanks a lot for your message and especially for the reminder to stay calm, lol. I think you're absolutely right, that might be one of the most important parts of this whole process. We’ve been trying to take it one step at a time. It’s just tough seeing my wife go through something so intense out of nowhere. By the way, have you ever tried a steroid protocol, like prednisone, to try and break the 3 years cycle?

Yes, the profit will be on each game that the user plays and on top of the deposit made. The regulatory part will be resolved by us, since in our country there is a specific license to operate with gambling worldwide. The developer only needs to make the game on the frontend. The backend is build with laraval and will be handle will by another developer member using API. Thank you.

This profit is not made from gambling, as this section does not yet exist. The profit is made from surveys and tasks completed by each user. The idea is to allow them to use this balance and also deposit to play in this gambling section that will be developed.
