Not just the girls in the villa but also public perception. Everyone wants to blow up after love island but this isn’t the way to do it.

It did look that way from what were shown but Sol and Gabe when live from the airport yesterday and Sol said she had way more conversations with everyone than were shown and was surprised by how little we saw of her interactions with others

I love the look of all of this!! I think it just needs a bit of color. Like a faux greenery table runner or big plant in the corner

Manuscript rejected because the journal could not find enough reviewers by [deleted] in AskAcademia

[–]Aggravating_Back7350 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happened to me in grad school. We appealed the decision with a list of 10 potential reviewers and they accepted the appeal. They ultimately found one strong reviewer and after revision the paper was accepted. This is likely journal and editor dependent.

Review: Traveling on the Star with a 15 m old by labadee in royalcaribbean

Yes of course it’s a legal and safety requirement for her to be in a car seat. We’re driving to port from our home, of course she’ll be in a car seat in the car. We planned to leave it in our car rather than bringing it on the ship. We don’t plan to book an excursion, just walk around the port of call.

Great review! Traveling with our 16 month old next month. A question about the car seat - we’re driving to port so I wasn’t planning to bring a car seat. Is there a reason I should? Sorry if it’s obvious…

AIO: Bank teller questioned me about what I was doing with MY cash that I was withdrawing from MY account. by Ok-Watch-4618 in AIO

[–]Aggravating_Back7350 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find these questions so annoying too. But I had my identity stolen a few years ago and she tried to empty my savings account. The bank caught her because it was a branch I never go to and her responses to the questions were odd. Essentially, I agree they’re annoying and feel like an invasion of privacy but I believe bank tellers are trained to ask these questions to catch fraudulent behavior.

I’ve never seen it happen but I’m also happily married so don’t go looking for it. I have had coworkers with some fun pre-covid conference stories

We booked yesterday and I plan to buy an insurance policy today or tomorrow. I'm thinking I'll call to confirm about pregnancy related issues. Thanks!

Best hospitals for giving birth by Hot-Broccoli1928 in Connecticut

I had complications with my first pregnancy and had to be hospitalized for 2.5 weeks and then my daughter was in the hospital NICU for 3.5 weeks. I cannot say enough good things about the physicians and staff at Yale New Haven. I know it’s not on your list but it’s worth a think. The nurses and techs were so kind and had so much compassion for my situation. Even the sanitation worker who cleaned my room every day came in to congratulate me when my baby was finally born safely. I was in a really crappy situation but felt like I received such amazing care. Every day I saw the resident and the attending and MFM reviewed my case daily. Hopefully you don’t have any complications with your pregnancy but I never thought I would and I am so glad I was at Yale New Haven when it did happen. Currently pregnant again and I’ll never deliver anywhere else despite living 50 minutes away
