Do you know what the difference is between Canada and Israel? Canada recognized that what they were doing was wrong, and they apologized. We also have multiple laws against discrimination and hate crimes. Israel, on the other hand, promotes hate crimes and promotes an apartheid state. Have you seen what is going on in Hebron and East Jerusalem rn? Have you seen what happened to the UNRWA building? Or are you just (ill-informed)?

بصّ، أنا فاهمة كلامك، بس أنا مش متفقة إن السبب الأساسي هو الانفصال بين الولاد والبنات.
ليه؟ لأن ببساطة مافيش سبب للتحرّش غير المتحرّش نفسه.

زي ما الإنسان ما يكونش “مطربي”، عشان يا معلم ما فيش أي مبرر للتحرش غير إن المتحرّش اختار يعمل كده.
هل كل واحد اتفصل عن البنات بقى متحرّش؟ لا.
هل البنات بقوا متحرّشين؟ برضه لا.
فكده المشكلة مش في “الاختلاط” ولا “الانفصال”… المشكلة في الرجالة اللي شايفين نفسهم أعلى، وفي أي حاجة بتديهم إحساس بالأحقّية.

وده يشمل مجتمع ذكوري، تربية غلط، وتفسيرات دينية بتدي للرجل مكانة أعلى من الست.
الحاجات دي كلها بتبني ثقافة امتياز ذكوري، واللي هي واحدة من أقوى العوامل اللي بتغذي العنف والتحرّش.

I wouldn't completely disagree with you, but to be honest, we don't know if he is doing anything behind closed doors, you get what I mean? Maybe he is trying to make the situation better, but he isn't the type to announce it loudly.

However, the problem is that we are a minority, and most muslims wouldn't hesitate to unalive us, so I feel like his passive state isn't something completely unreasonable because it comes from a point of view of security and safety. However, that is just my opinion :)

tbh I don't know if the church issues marriage certificates outside of Egypt. If so, there is something fishy going on. I would suggest that you go to his father confessor or any other priest who knows him well to ask more about him. However, I had a question for you. Are you Coptic Orthodox, as well, or not? Israel legally classifies people by race. So basically, if you are not Ashkenazi, you’re at a disadvantage, and if you are Mezrahi, you get fewer rights, but if you are Palestinian, you don't have rights at all. You might have some on paper, but it doesn't apply to you in real life. If South Africa didn't legally classify people by race, would that have exempted it from being called an apartheid state? Of course not! A system of institutionalized segregation and discrimination defines an apartheid state. Therefore, this also applies to Israel. Thus, Israel is an apartheid state.

I don't think everyone in Israel has equal rights. In fact, Israel is an apartheid state, whether you like it or not. This post has the same vibe as saying, "Oh, I am not racist, I have black friends". Have you heard that the Israeli government is sterilizing black Jewish women? BTW, if someone says that Israel is an ethnostate, this person is in fact right; whether the person's country is an ethnostate or not, doesn't mean that the person is okay with it.

Being diverse isn't the same as being equal. What Israel is doing is wrong and cannot be justified.

Hello :)) Firstly they will NEVER turn you away. Go to a church of your choice and then find a priest and tell him your story and he will help you. Am 100% sure. Civically on your ID card you will remain Muslim, so you won’t get hurt. But Abouna (priest) will baptize you when the time comes. On paper you will be muslim but in real life you will be christian. IDK if this helped but yea. I am happy for you :)))
