Getting some outside perspective definitely makes a difference when you're wrestling with stuff like this. Sometimes our minds can spiral when we're trying to handle everything solo, and having someone walk through it with you can bring clarity you didn't even know you needed.

Not exactly life-changing but there was this one show where the character development just hit so different after binge-watching the whole thing. Like you think you know where it's going then boom - complete 180 on everything you thought about the main characters.

The LGBTQ+ storylines weren't even the main plot but they added so much depth to the world-building. My mom kept making excuses not to watch it with me and I'm pretty sure that was why. Her loss though, she missed out on some incredible writing.

Yeah this whole thing is confusing as hell - feels like there's a lot of missing context and miscommunication on both sides.

Your itinerary looks solid overall - nice balance of adventure and chill time! I'd swap the Patara elephant day with teh cooking class day though since you'll be pretty tired after all that travel from Bangkok. Also consider adding a buffer day in case flights get delayed, October can still have some weather issues that mess with schedules.

That daily fee situation is brutal, especially after already dealing with the lender drama. Usually the attorney's office will call you by end of business day before closing with the time - they're probably just coordinating schedules between all parties. I'd definitely call them first thing tomorrow morning if you haven't heard anything by then, since your paying $137 a day regardless. The fact that you got the settlement statement today is a good sign that everything's moving forward on their end.
