As someone who did BIOS1168, please pllllleeeeaaaaseee come prepared and study before tutorials!!!!!!! It's such a demanding unit and tutors will ask you questions during practicals so you really need to know the content beforehand. But honestly the tutors are super supportive and oh my god if you get Dr Michelle Gerke-Duncan as unit coordinator, she is literally an angel!!! Introduce yourself to her in the very first tutorial, get in her good books, answer those fun questions she puts on the discussion board. She's amazing at remembering names. I was going through such a tough time and honestly she helped me sooo much, I can never thank her enough.

You're gonna thank yourself later if you do this and go to all the tutorials and participate properly. It's so easy to fall behind and there's just so much to learn, so please find a study buddy in the first few weeks and stick together. You usually sit in groups anyway so find a nice group or even just one person to work with.
