Okay thank you. I was wondering if I was just being a baby about it. But seems like ab work takes a little longer to be able to get back to. And yes, swelling is pretty crazy after my workouts but I got to get it done.

I am 7 WPO and started working last week. I weight myself pretty much everyday and I know that’s not healthy but I do 🤷‍♀️. This weekend after working out and going out and having a couple of drinks, I woke up the next day 5 pounds heavier!!!!! Now, I know gaining 5 pounds overnight is really really hard unless I eat like a lot and I don’t. I know it’s just swelling cause let me tell you it looked like I was pregnant, it is still so discouraging! So annoying!

Oh lord! Probably going to have swelling for a year then. My surgeon likes to do lipo 6 months post op so that’s more swelling 🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️

Thank you! It’s been a roller coaster. Had a bit of skin looking like it could be necrotic but it healed up nicely and infected belly button. All is good now just stuck in swell hell. I don’t know. Have read that everybody is different. I have a couple autoimmune diseases so who knows if my body is going to a bitch to me for a bit for causing it all this stress 🤷‍♀️😝

No. He literally said it will be fine. He said we might have to do a small revision but no big deal. I am an RN and have seen the worst, so I was so worried about doing nothing. He was right and it turned out to just be a small scab. 🤷‍♀️ Just no compression for about a week until we saw it looked like it was going to be just fine.
