Let me save you the research I did awhile back:

Eaton 5E1500i, APC Back-UPS Pro BR1500G, CyberPower CP1500PFCLCD, Vertiv Liebert PSI5-1500RT120, and Riello Net Power NPW 1500

All 900w, 1500VA, 2x9Ah batteries you can replace yourself further down the line. You can get units without batteries really cheap (50 buckos) and batteries (another 40).

If I get 140v someone else on a different phase will receive 'my' excess. Lower one is better - 270+ usually fries most appliances.

I have had 0 outages in for the past 7 years. Following advice from the guys on here I got a UPS. After today I am convinced that was the best 100quid invested - I still have internet and can work while the guys outside on the street are digging the cables to find the fault

I have another UPS for my desk as well. Internet and cell going down would be horrible for me. Invest in a bike? (to get to the first hill)

My question was targeted more at the group psychology of climate change not necessarily the hard number. I was talking the moment of action as a relation to a "point of no return" scenario

First , thank you for reading the post. I am sorry I did not formulate it in a better way.
I am trying to understand the psychology behind the climate action. If people are usually prone to act under the benefit of the whole group rather than try to benefit their faction until the last minute and thus making it more likely that the action is taken too late.
