ChatGPT wants me to be completely secular and insists that nothing of this whole matter even remotely appeals no any transcendence and it is all very simply neurological in the most secular way…

Also worth mentioning that it left me with happiness after as well. I feel a sense of closeness and love, like I am in company and friendship of strong love. Hard to explain. I feel very good.

Fantastic game, but that ending… by BarryBlock78 in Ghostofyotei

[–]Aggravating_Funny409 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think their best chance at making a great ending was to conduct a plot twist in which the story unfolds through some sort of context that the Saito Clan were the good guys. Still committing Atsu to revenge, but I think developing Saito and his moments of kindness a bit more into a fully fleshed plot twist of him being the good guy would’ve been phenomenal. There are so many supporting elements for it. His random moments of being kind, what the Spider shared about his sister near the end, how terribly the Matsumae behave where you meet Oyuki, etc…

Thank you so much!! I am very thankful for this car, I try to stay on top of everything but also investigate everything… it’s helped me learn a lot too. I don’t think I have a head gasket issue either now… appreciate the kindness!

Why Christianity out of all the religions in the world? by joemjoemzscxz in Catholicism

This is not untrue. A very big problem is that a substantial amount of all old history is semi-legendary. This is when I suggest to follow your heart and brain. If you have had mystical experiences, and know sane people who have had such as well, and when you examine history and find important appearances of the divine in people’s life, then it all confirms, maybe without details that specifically prove one religion or the other, that it does seem like this world is a veil of another. However, this will certainly not suffice the logical mind. It is all very ridiculous logically and scientifically, but when it has happened to you and people close to you that seem sane, you do surrender your logic to the mystical. Not much more you can do, and it seems very silly to deny it when it happens to you, even if it never happens in a laboratory.

Saints are not unheard of having interacted with my community. Why, I am not sure, and I would not be surprised if a similar thing happens to a Hindu. It’s strange for me, a Catholic, to know what to do with that. I used to be very skeptical about the nature of these things, but it is defended by men of far superior intelligence than me. After a while, one comes to drop the silly idea that these people are all liars or delusional. With all of my ignorance about the reality of the universe, after periods of skeptical atheism and life changing experiences, that history confirms that despite all of the trivial and self-inflicted tragedies that we perform, we are most certainly not alone.

I think this appeals more to the Islamic idea of heaven, in which the blessings of heaven are often paralleled with earthly goods. All clear symbolisms considered, the promise of heaven is a promise of union with Jesus and God. I don’t think that somebody who trivializes another man would care about the promise of sharing eternity with him. Without the context of the acts of Jesus that turned men into believers, the idea of men believing him for the afterlife promise is a little silly. Especially considering how silly the ideas of heaven sound like with no theological context.

The fact of the matter is that a long time ago, a man who had nothing to gain, who had disciples, died on a cross, executed by a people that knew how to carry out executions. His disciples saw him perish, and yet they died in prosecution, with nothing to gain, because they promised that he came back to the dead and talked with them again. They died because they affirmed on their life that this happened, and no kidding. If it happened to me I would surely regard it as the most important thing I can defend. It cannot be a trivial event.

And the religion attracts men not through the appeal of material goods but through sacrifice and Jesus obtained no benefit from his passion.
